Better safe than sorry...
Booster did it!

Ted Kord Beetle is alive!

It was close, and I thought several times that Booster would buy it instead, but both live... yet, I have the feeling this story will end with Booster having to -sacrifice- Ted somewhere down the road, to make something -right- again that went wrong through BB being saved... <.<

It could just be an arc, yeah..... but heck, yeah! TED!!!!!!

27th Century Beetle worries me, though.

Until Maxwell Lord gets redeemed I'm not interested.

Says the man with the Kord as his avatar. ^_~

I for one am excited by this, even though I'm sure it will end in tragedy.

I see Ted's return as inevitable in the long term, even if this particular try doesn't stick (Geoff Johns has a way of finding the cloud for every silver lining.)

What happened to Max is, to me, dramatically worse (he went from a fully-formed and shady character to a two-dimensional villain), and harder to retcon.

Never underestimate the ability of Didio to erase continuity, whether that of twenty days, or twenty minutes. Human.

Okay, how will Babs & the remaining JLI members react to this news? ;)

I am waiting until Blue and Gold Part 5 before getting excited about anything

Sadly, part of the deal is that no one can know he's alive. History must continue to say that Ted Kord was murdered (or at least it can't be popular knowledge).

Wait, where was that mentioned in this month's issue?

Blue and Gold, baby. Another keen issue.

Don't know how long this will stick. Judging by March solicits, it looks like saving Ted has caused way more problems than it solved. Regardless, the next couple of issues look like they'll be one heckuva ride.

I danced a little jig. I admit it.

I'm glad to see Ted back for any length of time. But I do get the same feeling here that I got when I first read about John's bringing the Kingdom Come Superman into the current JSA arc: this is awesome, but it's going to end tragically. But if he does eventually have to get stuck back into his original timeline (the book IS still just called Booster Gold) I trust Johns to make the ride worth it.

Near the end by the future Beetle.

From the BG issue 6 review thread:
The future Beetle informs them that everyone must continue to think that Ted is dead.
What was the point of bringing Ted back from the dead if no-one knows that he's alive?

Same as Booster being a big hero but not being allowed to tell anyone?

you have a live Max pop up at some point with the whole OMAC thing being a plot by that cyborg Kilg%re that took him over a few years back. It would be ironic because the thing that would make sense is the very plot point they rejected in the first place.

Booster knows.
And Ted knows.

How long will Booster keep his fellow JLI members or Oracle from finding out Ted has returned from the grave? After all, they do have a telepath (Martian Manhunter!). ;)

Well, considering that he's persona non grata with them, not a problem. Besides, he doesn't really have a "base of operations" for them to get in contact with him....

J'onn is currently on the Salvation Run planet so there's no chance of him reading Booster's mind any time soon.

Reread JLA 119 - J'onn feels sorry that he didn't believe Ted prior to getting killed!

What does that have to do with what I said? How does what J'onn felt in that issue from two (more?) years ago allow him to do anything on Earth right now considering he's currently on an undisclosed planet and completely unaware of what Booster is up to?

I don't have a good feeling about future Beetle with all the answers.

He's...

a). Not as smart as he thinks he is and time will repair itself after their tampering in a most horrible way.

b). Not what he seems and manipulating events to fit his own agenda.

c). The mastermind that has been opposing Rip all along and causing the time anomalies.

MM doesn't invade people's memories unless there's a really, really good reason for him to.

And it might not register on telepathic chatter. I would think it's almost like talking/listening -- you could really focus and listen/eavesdrop on one person in particular, but if you see no reason to...
