Green Lantern Corps-- Kyle & Guy's book now?

Does anyone know if the plan is for Green Lantern Corps to be focused solely on Kyle Rayner and Guy Gardner now?

I think they both have interesting stories to tell but I was liking all the stories of the non-earth lanterns in GLC... it had more of a sci-fi lantern feel, where as GL was more of a human aspect... I mean they both are pretty much sci-fi I guess but it was refreshing to not have the protagonist always be human...

I wish they would also add a Tales of the Green Lantern Corps monthly if this is what they are going to do, to examine the non-earth born characters established in GLC.... kind of like JLA or JSA Classified I think.... then they could also fill us in on all the other GL's out there we haven't heard about... (I picked up Secret Files and Origins, and wish it could be fleshed out a bit more)

Mike Smash! made a GL forum support thread that barely got 40 replies, hence the lack of one.

You've more or less got it right, Hal is the focus of GL, CL Corps is going to be focused on Kyle, Kilowog, Salaak, Sodam and Guy and what's new with Oa and the Corps, JLA is John's book to shine in.

oh yeah I forgot about that and Sodam being the new Ion as well.... stupid Countdown almost ruined Sinestro Corps for me, I think it could have been real awesome if Countdown's idiocy wasn't there to screw everything up... well I mean it was real awesome, so I think it could have been really really super awesome and stuff...

Or more likely GLC is going to have an ensemble cast with Kyle and Guy being the primary protagonists.

Eh, I'd doubt it. Why wreck one good book because another sucky book happens to have the same character in it?

The new issue of GL Corps has Kyle shacking up on Oa in support of Guy's move to get a clean slate, so I can only assume his role as a GL is more important to him than anything going on in Countdown. Between Donna Troy and Ice, I think both needed a clean break of sorts. After all, friends help you move, real friends help you move halfway across the galaxy to settle down and re-open a bar. :D

I sure hope Kyle and Guy will be the new focus. I never really got into the new Corps members introduced in Recharge. Meanwhile, I think Kyle is an amazing character, and Guy and Killowog make excellent supporting cast.
