The Warwolves... intelligent monsters who can wear people's skin as a disguise. Mojo dispatched them to retrieve (kill?) Rachel and they ended up fighting Excalibur, then getting put in the London Zoo when they lost.

Oh man, the Warwolves would be picking the New X-Men out of their teeth. Now that'd be one good fight.

Warwolves hold bigger spot in my heart than Preddy X.

See, here's my beef with him...three Preddys were destroyed spot-on-sight pretty much in issue of NXM a few weeks ago, one escaped and now he's supposed to be hell on wheels badass when the other three versions weren't that bad/hard to destroy (were they?). I just feel like he's supposed to be such a gigantic threat when we've already seen three versions of him laid to waste in one issue with no NXM kids dying in the fight. I dunno...whatever...I like Messiah Complex and the Preddy X thought it just a tangent.

I never heard about him gaining the powers of mutants he eats. the only reason they bonded some of Mercury to them was so that they could have some kind defense/regenerative ability I think.

Remember Mammomax. Predator X has incomplete genetics. Its DNA strand evolves every time it eats, allowing it to form defensive capabilities to powers similar to its victims. And it grows stronger after every meal. I misinterpreted his abilities at first, he has a few others, but they probably won't be important. But, the one that killed Mammomax absorbed his DNA and took on a massive form. So the more I look into it, the more it seems that while getting defensive capabilities he also takes on some of the capabilities of its victims.
