Mutant League 01/15/2008 PM Game 3: Speed vs. Greg Anderson & Mr. Kent

Greeting fight fans! Welcome to the first fight of the day!

And now on to our fight...

In the first corner we have Speed's Speeders:
Lady Mastermind, Scrambler, Phoebe Cuckoo, Sunfire, Scalphunter, Unuscione, Qwerty

vs

In the other corner is Greg Anderson & Mr. Kent's Corsairs:
Cyclops, Bishop, Threnody, Leech, Gateway, Domino, Martha Johansson

Disappointingly, Speed failed to submit a strategy and therefore forfeits this match and her spot in the tournament.

As such, Greg Anderson & Mr. Kent advance to Game 10 where they'll face the winner of Game 4 next Tuesday, January 22.

This also means that the Speeders are up for grabs should anyone want to take ownership of them.

I've got a couple ideas...I'm hoping the no trade rule will be lifted for teams that are being put under new ownership. I don't wanna trade w/ anyone playing, but I wouldn't mind swapping a few on this team for a couple on the undrafted list.

I know the last time I took over a team, I think it was 3 Leagues ago, I was able to swap out from the undrafted list.

She was banned, but part of the rules is that you can still submit while banned. Guess she decided not to. Which is really disappointed, I really wanted to see our team battle.

That only applies to temporary bans.

Here are the rules concering Bannings:
An issue that sadly has to be addressed. Any player who is permanently banned is also banned from the Mutant League. Anyone who is temporarily banned may remain in the League so long as their banishment does not disrupt the League schedule or prohibit them from submitting strategies. Posters may not vote during their banishment.

It's crap. Bad art, poor story lines and plots that make little sense and one line puns all over the place that really aren't even worthy of a bad ITV sitcom.

Also, I just found out that the Danger Room, who apparently was angry at Xavier and all that, where I originally thought that it 'broke' it's programming and can kill the X-men, can't so the entire plot was pointless.

We are talking about Astonishing right?
