Didn't know whether this had been announced over here yet or not.

Takei has confirmed that he will be returning to conclude Shaman King for real in March 2008, we finally get a real ending! :D

Oh thats interesting. I never saw the final episode anyway. The next to last seemed pretty grim, You was trapped in soem kind of mind trap and his evil twin was like about to get/just got the Shaman King power. So I just thoguth they pulled out a plot device WTF PWN FTW.

Interesting.

The anime did finish.

Just it had diveged wildly from the manga in the process.

The manga famously never got finished, it ended on a kind of cliffhanger.

Oh, and here I am just recently starting to collect it. So that's good to know that it's being finished.

Apparently all the the 37 (?) volumes that exist so far will be rereleased and condensed into fewer books so keep an eye out for those.

....Well crap. I'm already up to Vol. 6, with 7, 8 and 9 being ordered in for me at the store sometime this week.

Well crap indeed.

Still, look forward to the ending either way.

Well, I figure that I can hold off on getting further volumes until the new versions come out, find the best place to jump back in, and go from there. 9 volumes isn't all that far in out of 30-some, and worst case scenario I'll have some overlap.

It'll allow me to collect up on some other stuff in it's place.
