Scottie Young really was extraordinary this year, Bachalo did great this year as well, but Young's art gave the New X-Men a feel that was undeniable.

Bachalo's been sublime as usual, but Young really deserves it this year. He's been flat out amazing and really charged NXM with something special.

Choi's been solid too, but Cassaday's been largely forgettable. Still, I'd put Ramondi, Hairsine, Simone and even Larocca ahead of either.

Skottie Young ftw. Seriously, when he came onto the book, he really made the book a must read. But Bachalo was great as always.

I love Skottie, his NXM run was sexy as hell, but Bachalo has become my favorite artist out there right now. I love his art on so many levels.

Oh it's so hard to choose. Bachalo, Young, and Choi are all wonderful artists. But I had to go with Young on this one. He was awesome.

Young came out of nowhere really and was near prefect on Young X-Men. I loved every page of his Young X-Men. However...I went with Bachalo because at the end of the day he's still my favorite artist. But it was a very tough call.

What the hell is wrong with you peopel?! Cassaday is simply the man. Although i must admit bachalo makes me love whatever book he's on. Just wish he would spend more time on the action sequences as they are sometimes a bit hard to grasp visualy.

Man, it's gotta be Skottie Young! I started picking up New X-men just for the art, it's so energetic and I adore it. Plus his Anole is utterly adorable.

I'm kind of sad Raimondi didn't make it though! He's probably one of the only artists with a more realistic style that I really like.

Many X-artists were enjoyable this year (I find Raimondi and Ramos sorely missing as nominees in the votes...and instead find Choi listed...), but Bachalo flies leagues and bounds above and owns all in this competition.

To me, Bachalo is the most visually exciting and delivers the most eye candy:

Mr. Young was astounding last year. His work on New X-Men was fabulous, but don't forget how his covers for Cable & Deadpool shined either. The way he used different art styles and materials for each issue was just unbelievable.
