This is tough, but I'll give it to X-MEN! It revitalized Omega Sentinel, Lady Mastermind, and Cable, and introduced memorable villains, such as Pandemic, and the Children of the Vault! Plus, it had FANTASTIC Bachalo art! Hoorah!!! New X-Men is a close second!

I went with New X-Men. The book really seemed to find its groove with Young. X-Factor and X-Men both went off the rails a bit for me last year.

Yeah, being specific to 2007 New X-men was in a better place than the other books.

It was close between New and X-Men for me, but I went with New X-Men. Quest for Magic and Children of the X-Men were just great.

X-Men for me, although it was pretty close between it and X-Factor.

X-Men just had a drool worthy cast. Iceman Cannonball Rogue - top draw X-Men. 3 of the best. Mystique Sabretooth Lady Mastermind - 3 cool histories, 3 cool powersets, 3 cool question-marks loyalty wise. Cable and Karima, both great re-additions to the X-Men family.

Character interactions. Bobby-Sam, Bobby-Raven, Rogue-Raven, Sam-Nathan, Sabretooth-anyone. This book had it all.

Bachalo was doing the good stuff, giving especially good renditions of Iceman Cable and Rogue.

all top draw stuff for me.

Mike Carey's X-Men, hands down. Excellent cast, great characterization, reasonable purpose, original villians, interesting art.

New X-Men was sure entertaining and looked gorgeous with Skottie Young, but all the endless torture made me roll my eyes from time o time.

I voted for X-Men. It's fantastic. It got me back into comics. I'm so sad it its ending in its existing team and format..

Obviously New X-Men, hands down. Perfect in cast, writing, story and art.

It needs to win this year because there won't be another chance.

Not that it matters anymore though.

It was really hard between X-Men and New X-men but I picked

NEW X-MEN!

I felt like they really juggled a big cast and fleshed out some amazing characters. They also brought back Magik who is one of my all time favorites.

I had a hard time deciding between New X-Men and X-Men, but I had to go with Mike Carey.

I voted X-Men, but this was really, really tough. I love both New X-Men and X-Factor.

But X-Men coming equipped with Bachalo pushed it over the edge ;)

Normally X-Factor would get my vote, but X-Men under Carey kicked far too much ass this yeah. X-Factor hasn't been as fun as it used to be with the X-Cell and Isolationist arc as compared to the stories before it. But Carey had me on suspense every second.

X-Men...brought me back to X-Men after a 13 year absence....now they're taking it away

Mike Carey's X-Men, hands down. I was ready to become an Ultimate X-Men fanboy (thanks, BKV!) when Mike brought me back in a second with his fantastic first year of stories. The sexiness that is Rogue, Iceman and Cannonball in the same team helped!

I've enjoyed every single bit of Mike Carey's X-Men run!

The return of the Marauders alone in X-Men #200 and the fallout from it in issues 201-204 got my vote... the writing really was spectacular.

My own fav was AXM, due to issue 23.....but i can see why it wasnt nominated due to those awfull delays.

So im going to go with New X-Men....i pretty much enjoyed every issue of this during the year...while i found the last two arcs on X-Factor boring and as for X-Men, Carey is a great writer but i couldent stand the arc on providence & Pandemic.

Still it is the first time i think i have enjoyed Rogue in like...forever.

Mike Carey has done great job with the book in 2007, i think he deserves the title

X-Men got my vote but thats purely because there was no choice of Astonishing, why was that? It so would of won too.

X-Men got my vote but thats purely because there was no choice of Astonishing, why was that? It so would of won too.

Purely because more people nominated the three books above. And I dare say several others. Astonishing's delays and stretched out stories have not been looked on favourably by a lot of people.

X-Factor while still awesome, dipped a bit in quality in 2007 although it also had my favourite single issue of the year.

The X-cell arc didn't do much for me and the Isolationist arc was a bit of an anti-climx although we certainly haven't seen the last of him.

X-Men was just solid. Every week, enjoyable.

I voted New X-men because Kyle and Yost take risks. Thats mostly to do with the characters not being well known enough for them to be 'sacred'. Basically they could do what the wanted with the characters. And it was awesome. You never knew what was gong to happen. Just take a looka t the characters at the start of their run and now! Rockslide is totally different. Anole lost an arm. ,magick lost part of her soul. Prodigy got his powers back and split with Surge. And I think that was all this year!

K&Y were not afraid to mess with the characters and it made for great reading.

I voted New X-men. it was spot on and didn't miss a beat this year. The other titles nominated, while great, either dipped in quality or were a bit bumpy due to art.

Have you voted for the X-Book of the Year yet? It looks like there is a clear lead, but there's still time for voting!

X-Factor, but it was close.

X-Factor, because the art in X-Men and New X-Men went from awful (Bachalo) to childish (Quest for Magik). And Peter David > Mike Carey, although Carey did a pretty good job with awful "team hero" characters like Sabretooth, Omega Sentinel, Lady Mastermind, and Cable.

X-Factor with New X-men a very very very close second (really has been the best year for it). Did enjoy X-men too though.

New X-Men for sure
it was consistantly great
I couldnt wait for new issues to ship
awesome stories, great character development(and alot of characters that all got some work) and skottie youngs are was unreal!! why hasnt he cloned and put on every book!!

X-men was really good, but not consistantly great
great cast done really well, but not great(aside from mystique)

X-Factor was also really good
better character development then X-men

I voted X-Factor because I knew X-Men will get enough votes. X-Men is really good, maybe as good as X-Factor. It's really difficult to decide. But X-Factor was the only X-Book I was following before Carey, and I love Bru, but his Uncanny is not good enough to carry his name.

NEW X-MEN!!!
Because it rocks! And Marvel don't freakin' know a good thing when they have it.
