what live action movies or characters would make good anime translation

sense we having Anime stuff turn to live action. What would work the other way around

for me


1) Battle Royale- Yea know it was a manga..but talking about Anime

2) the WILD BUNCH- This would be great, with over the top violence and action

3) Man with no name- They had arcetypes of this guy..why not just go all the way

4) Scarface

5) Detetive Tequila

6) Kill Bill

7) Blade

8) Evil Dead

The Matrix 1 & 2 definitely would have made for great anime.

And 3 just shouldn't exist in any sense.

I personally think that Crank would have been better translated as anime than a live action film. Crank had that ridiculous over the top style so it could actually work.

Edger Rice Burroughs always Tarzan would make an excellent animated film. We've had the sucky Filmation attempts, The Disney film was pretty good and the series was decent. Although they haven't been filmed, I would also like to see John Carter, Warlord of Mars & Carson of Venus as well.

John Carter of Mars is in development with Pixar--that's a great start.
