With the coming of Ultimatum rumours of series being cancelled are pilling up,so if it was up to you which one would you choose? And why?

Fantastic 4,it´s the worst selling and to me is 1 of the reason why Ultimate Universe started to lose it´s down to earth realism.
Until they arrived there was this uncertainty about earth and the rest of the universe, the series focused manily on the planet and the connections between heroes with SHEILD supervising everything.
Since the beggining of F4 they traveled in time,to other galaxies, other realities so i think it made Ultimate Universe lose it´s unique aspect. And expanded to horizonts that really don´t fit this Universe.

Ultimate X-Men.
Unfortunately Kirkman's run really hurt the book and I don't think it will recover anytime soon.

I agree with you on a lot of this. However, I recently picked up a couple issues and found myself enjoying them.
I had thought it was selling better then UXM as well. Not sure though.

All of them except Spider-man.

Ultimates. I have no interest in reading it now that Millar and Hitch are gone, especially not with Loeb on board.

Ultimate X-Men a lot of bad characterization.

Kirkman has really damaged Ultimate X-Men beyond repair.
And I've really lost interest in UFF and Ultimates, which was terrible.
So I wouldn't care if all three of them were cancelled as long as Ultimate Spider-Man is still around.

Ultimate Spidey is Pretty much Carrying the Ultimate Line right now.
UFF is borderline unreadable. Ultimate X-Men is a notch above that, at best.
Ultimate Spider-Man is a lone soldier right now.

Although everything but Spider-Man could be scrapped, X-Men and Ultimates sell well. So, if put in the position to get rid of one of them, I'd probably end Ultimate FF. Ideally, though, I'd like Ultimate Spider-Man and Ultimate Two-in-One, starring various characters from the other titles.

UXM. Don't like it. UFF,Ultimates, and US are the best reads in the Ultimatverse to me. IMO

Ultimate SpiderMan is holding its own. UFF and UXM are cut worthy.

Where is the none option :(, I still have hope, especially with Kirkman soon to be gone and my not having caught up with Carey's apparently bad arcs of FF.

I think that the underlying thing here is that it was never necessary for an "Ultimate X-Men" because the 616 X-Men has evolved and changed so much over time without ever diluting the main point of the book. Which is of course, bigotry and oppression. Which is a helluva a lot broader spectrum than oh say... "Nerd gets bit by radioactive spider, gets spider abilities, acts like a douchebag, a tradgedy happens , and he spends his life trying to atone for it." Which is basically the pitch for Spider-Man. Brilliant as it is (seriously and with respect) it's still a restrictive umbrella that could never support as many issues without constant tweaks as the much much broader X-Men concept. I dare say that NO ONE MUTANT is irreplaceable. You could kill any character and still continue years and years of X-Men stories that could make PERFECT sense. While Spider-Man could NEVER be Spider-Man without Peter Parker. Just some food for thought.

I'm a fan of UFF, so would really like that to "survive". Guess my answer would be the Ultimates or The X-Men.

UFF
I didn't like them in the 616, and I still don't like them......Johnny and The Thing can stay. Maybe they can be move into the Ultimates books.

Actually i really like Sue Storm in ultimate, the thing is Reed is even more of a obsessed kid with his work that the 616 counterpart and that makes their relashionship even more unrealistic.
For a girl like Sue to put up with all the crap that Reed does it´s unbelievable.

MARVEL CONFIDENTIAL
Marvel Comics held a major creative summit in New York City this week and Wizard was there! Get the inside scoop on what’s coming up from Joe Quesada, Brian Michael Bendis, Jeph Loeb, Ed Brubaker and many more!
WIZARD: What character or project are you most excited for coming out of this summit?
J MICHAEL STRACZYNSKI (Amazing Spider-Man writer): “I have to say the discussion we had about the Ultimate Universe and what’s going to happen with Reed Richards and Magneto in a project Brian [Bendis] and Jeph Loeb are working on.”
AXEL ALONSO (senior editor): “Besides my own books, I’m also very excited about the plans for Ultimate X-Men, because it’s something I’ve wanted us to do for at least a year. That the plan to get there is interesting is just gravy for me. The launch pad for Ultimate X-Men for the future really intrigues me. No matter how we get there, it’s a home run. I should actually be worried because I edit [the X-Men titles] and I’m going to have some stiff competition.”
BRIAN MICHAEL BENDIS (New Avengers, Mighty Avengers writer): “It’s going to sound selfish because it’s the stuff I’m working on, but I’m very relieved and thrilled that for the big event I’m working on, the plan stayed in one piece the whole time. If it survives this, it will survive. I was also getting a little concerned about lack of planning for the Ultimate Universe, but now that has been fixed and there are genuine awesome plans for the next calendar year with me and Loeb. For those who needed it, this will revitalize interest in the [Ultimate] books, and for those who haven’t been buying, you’re going to get some nice payoff. I’ve invested a lot of my life in the Ultimate books and to see them living for another year in such grand fashion is a big relief to me.”
ED BRUBAKER: (Captain America writer): “I’m really excited for all the stuff they talked about doing with the Ultimate Universe. As much as everything was really interesting, as a reader, I’m excited to see that.”
JEPH LOEB (Fallen Son: The Death of Captain America writer): “I think what we have in mind for the Ultimate Universe is going to blow people’s minds. I knew I wanted to be involved in the end result; I didn’t know the lead-up would be something I’d be involved in, but working with Brian is going to make a lot of sense. We want to restore the ‘wow’ factor that unlike in regular continuity, anything can happen, and there are a lot of surprises left in the Ultimate Universe.

I think this will help disprove some of the rumours about the cancellation of some of the ultimate booKs; UXM in particular. I think Straczynki's comments does give some insight as to what ultimatum might be about.

UXM hands down.
Here's another excerpt from the ign article with the new writer from the Heroes tv show Aron Coleite;
IGN Comics: Is there any official length of time you'll be staying?
Coleite: The official word is 4 issues. One kick-ass-balls-to-the-wall-arc. Then Ultimatum. But... in this world - you never know. Kirkman was supposed to do 4 issues or something like that and he wound up doing 28.
Now i may be DEAD wrong but i dont think an incoming writer would wish to write more issues of a book that is going to be cancelled. I just hope Coleite and Loeb clean up kirkman's mess. To be fair, Kirkman had an interesting plot. If Messiah CompleX can get such good reviews with Cable, Bishop and TIME TRAVEL being the major plot, then why do most people hate Kirkman's run since Cable, Bishop and TIME TRAVEL are a major part of his story. Poor execution i guess

The way it's been going for the lat year or so, I'd say Ult X-men. Average standard of writing and artwork. It was already being overshadowed by Astonishing X-Men, now Ult X-Men is nowhere near. Shame given how the series started off.

I really hope UFF is the one to go. It's the most pointless book at this time.

I could live without Ult. Fantastic Four.
I like it, don't get me wrong. I just...happen to like Ult. Spidey, Ult. X-Men, and The Ultimates more.
So, my vote goes to UFF.

I like the way UFF is going atm, it did get a bit meh with God War but I am really excited for whats coming up.
I've never been into Spider man in general, but after re reading block buster I have developed an interest so I might get some of the graphic novels.
I love X men in general and although of late it hasn't been great I haven't hated it, it's still kept me wanting to read and it has so much potential.
Ultimates, for me, have been attractive because they've always appeared mysterious as I've never read any comics solely about them. they always appear in storylines that occur in x men/ff so for this reason I say ultimates as i will never read them because i prefer the mystery of them from my pov

I say Ultimate X-Men. The book has been seriously hurt by Robert Kirkman's love of the 90's. I say cancel it after Ultimate X-Men 100 (the last part of Ultimatum), and then find a way to reboot it entirely.
