Ultimate Deadpool!

Hey guys I'm fairly new to the Ultimate U, and one of my favorite comic book characters is Deadpool. Does anyone know if he is in the Ultimate U? Like an appearance in U.Xmen perhaps?

He appeared in USM. It wasn't pretty, you'd be disappointed by his appearance and Ultimatization.

I liked the way his costume looked. Hated the way he looked without it though. It was just stupid. And I liked the attitude, but it wasnt befitting of deadpool. Put that attitude in a new character and it would have worked great.

I have my fingers crossed for his return. They have a good opportunity to give the character a second chance. Lets hope they take it.

No. Deadpool has a sense of humor like Spiderman but a little more adult and he jokes around more frequently, in and out of fights. Wow that sucks. can someone post a pick for me? what does he look like?

Thanks a lot Alan. Wow the costume looks dope, I love his sleeves, but the unmasked looks horrible wow. I liked it when he looked like a burn victim.

Yeah, it's kinda cool with the protective mask but I like the other face.

I'm a huge fan of Deadpool, and I didn't mind the look one bit, but the lack of humour really killed it for me. That's the great/terrible part of the Ultimization of characters; you can do anything with them, but when the character is already awesome, where do you go with it?

Yeah, I do prefer the other face. Big time. But given this is an alternate universe, I think it works and looks cool.

Some characters are done a disservice from being Ultimized because there's not much you can do to tweak the mythos or mess around with to keep them fresh, updated, or revitalized. Some I found this way are Deadpool, Daredevil, and a lot of the X-men.

So, since we are talking about Ultimate Deadpool, Is he coming back? I heard that he will be back in another book. But now with how things are looking for UXM and UFF, I doubt we will see him again.

I liked it. Some characters get a huge twist when they appear in an ultimate book, but he was kept somewhat similar to his 616 line..the costume was cool and making him the head of reavers was interesting. I hope he returns..interesting to find him in a spiderman book too

I think the outfit looks fine, no better or worse than regular Deadpool.

The reason why Deadpool lacked any sense of humor was because he was a merger of two different 616 character. Deadpool and Donald Pierce. Which is a commen idea in the Ultimateverse, combining two characters together. Like Proteus/Legion, Wolverine/Cable, etc. I thought he was fine, myself.

Considering UXM is moving towards it's end, I doubt he'll return there. As for Cable & Deadpool, it's cancelled with #50. Mostly because Cable is getting a push into a solo book. DP will get one also.
