Huh. With all the focus on legacies in the other interviews, I expected Cornell to say more about possible guest stars.

From the looks of it, Vision takes Cassie on a date, and everyone's favourite beekeepers, A.I.M., crash the party.
Also, Vision posing as Cassie's "Uncle Tony" on their date is kind of creepy.

Sounds exciting!
I was interested to hear that the mini is just keeping YA warm for Heinberg still, as I though I'd heard rumblings he wasn't coming back or something.

No, the current rumor is that he's coming back sooner... thanks to the writer's strike.
There's also been a few rumors that he may be doing plots, with someone else scripting.

I see Hardball, and that's it. No idea for the rest.
Interesting that they're changing the coming to terms with the past theme going on until now, and have the Vision on a creepy date with Stature instead. Hopefully this will give us some insight as to her relationship with the Young Avengers after she decided to join the Initative.
I love that Mark Brooks is doing this, by the way. We're getting some amazing creative teams.
Now I just hope the rumors are true and Heinberg will get to work on the second season with the strike and all. He was on the creative summit after all, although his interview wasn't exactly informative.

The writers seem to have been free to come up with their own material, for the most part. Brubaker did a loose tie-in to his Cap story, Reed does a semi-tie-in to his Cap story, Aguire-Sacasa follows up on a plot introduced in the original run, which is also what Cornell is doing.

where do you see Hardball? the only guy i see who might resemble him has large arm sheaths that i've never seen Roger wear. he almost looks more like Thunderclap (which wouldn't make any sense). and, if that is Hardball, who is the girl with him?

You're right... I thought it was him on the first panel but I hadn't noticed he was the same guy with the arm sheaths... no clue, then... New recruits, maybe?

you'd think that they'd pick some recognizable folks for an annual. why bother showing Camp Hammond at all?

Because it's where Cassie lives?

I kind of find it all difficult that the entire team is somewhat split up over the SHRA. :(
It looks like Alan Heinberg has it work cut out for him if he thinks that there is a story when the team is seperated.:(
