Who are your favourite Initiative characters?

Mine is MVP, especially after the whole Scarlet Spiders thing;)

i'm disappointed that MVP died. i wish that one of the clones would adopt the name.

My favorite character was MVP (before he got killed). The kid had potential in the MU.

Anyway I voted Yellowjacket, Cloud9 and of course Gyrich. You can't have shady government business, something that's essential to the whole A:TI series, without a person like Gyrich running the show.

Funny thing is none of the new characters really do anything for me. I do like the whole Scarlet Spiders and evil scientist relationship though. I honestly feel like the new characters are pretty much forgettable.

Baron Von Blitzschlag is my #1, but I was suprised to not see Stature on the list. If Ant-Man is on there, Cassie deserves to have here own slot too.

I love them all. I would have to say my favorite is Komodo. She's tough and damaged, gives her a "realistic" tone.

Another one of my faovorites is Slapstick. He's awesome. Makes me wish I could take a mallet to Gauntlets head.

Yellowjacket. I like Pym in all his incarnations. My favorite is his West Coast adventurer, where he doesn't change size but has a Quinjet in one pocket and an electron microscope in the other.

And of course Ant-Man Eric O'Grady. His solo book gone. I'm glad he has a new home.

But I do love all the characters. Cloud 9 is cute and MVP has gotten crazy. I can't wait to see Amory again. Mutant Zero makes a good resident mystery. And you've got your goverment coruption right up front with Gyrich. The cast really fits great and the interactions are done really well.

except i'm skeptical of Gyrich's pet situation. he probably doesn't have a dog to attach antlers to. as it is, he would probably have to use War Machine. :(

i have to admit that i found the second digest to be much more entertaining. the first was somewhat angsty (to be expected with Chris dying & all). the 2nd had more humor in it. plus it was great that they unearthed Damage Control (imo). i expect that Dwayne McDuffie could do them justice since he created the concept.

it's, technically, an accurate description since he's in the army now; the Initiative Army. :D i've just been refering to him as GiAnt-Man since can toggle between both powers. i hope he does start using his sensational shower sense in the near future, though. i wonder what Trauma's costume will be once he graduates.

Funny how you call them all forgettable yet you highlight the most forgettable relationship in the entire book.

They're all great mostly original likable characters, they stand out more than some of the longtime Marvel mainstays.

And Ant-Man has official gained my interest. Deadpoolishness with that truckslap aside, defamation of the legacy he's [indirectly] inheriting is comedy gold.

lol! you forgot that he attempted to screw his best friend's girlfriend on his best friend's freshly dug grave. he also pressured a woman he saved from a mugging to buy him a really expensive dinner; all with the intention of screwing her later. when she rejected his advances, he crept into her house (at ant-size) and watched her shower. he disfigured one of SHIELD's higher ranked officers (instant retirement) and framed him for the theft of the Ant-Man armor. he got Black Fox incarcerated in a SHIELD prison after the old guy risked all to come save him from certain death. he bailed on Chris' girlfriend after getting her pregnant, as well. just say'n. but Deadpool will always have uppercutting kitty pryde.
