I wrote down 30 movie martial artists down on pieces of paper and picked two out of a hat. These are the two that came out.

Seriously, I'm really bored.

In the arena, standard equip, bloodlust on

Who takes it?

You know, just because Johnny Cage did it, doesn't mean it's not a curbstomp.

What Batman going to do other than kick Goro in the nuts? I mean, the only way Johnny Cage beat Goro was by luring him into a high place and being lucky enough to knock em off.

Now can Batman nail Goro in the nuts open opening bell? Absolutley! But then what?

Well then again standard equpiment is on, and Batman DOES have explosives and Batarangs, not to mention his grappling hook. And he is fast enough to stay out of Goro's reach.

So maybe he might take this.

I think between Batman's superior speed, the protection his suit grants him and his arsenal in his utility belt Batman has a decent chance here.

well bats only needs to ty up the big four armed power house and hope that goro dosent land a hit in his face. 7/10 in favor for batman.

I agree.

Especially as this version of Goro was something of a joke.

I have really little respect for Goro, in any version...

He was killed by Johnny Cage! Wtf!

Hey now, Johnny Cage is awesome.

Batman takes him apart. Goro showed no speed and very little skill. And his durability isn't going to do so hot against edged weapons, explosives, gas, etc.

Batman blinds him, gasses him, tosses some nasty little edged toys his way, then when he's slowed even more, cuts him to ribbons. It'll take a while, but that's all.

Yeah he was pretty damn slow and plotting. I can see Batman dancing around him all day long.

The only reason he was so feared was his strength and damage soak which is not a problem for Bats and his non lethal but effective weapons.

Bat 8/10.

Well considering how batman normally has gimzos as well as armor on during his fights he definitely can do a lot better than Johnny Cage did and I'm starting think that people aren't even putting much thought into how it might play out. I still haven't watched Batman beings because I pretty much became uninterested in further rehashing of the Batman mythology.

Begins is actually a decent movie, even if you're not a Batman fan (which I am not).

How this might play out? Batman leads off with explosives and gas against the lumbering Goro. As Goro staggers around a little, he hits him with a bunch of bat-shuriken. Goro is now bleeding and more than a little messed up from the booms and gas. Batman continues to move away from him, hurling bat-shuriken. None of the small blades have a hope of taking Goro down, but each one is a bleeding wound that edges a little more into his mobility and strength.

Goro, not having shown anything in the way of movement speed despite his tremendous size, isn't catching up to Batman anytime soon. Especially when Bruce can 'shortcut' his way around the arena with the grappling gun.

Eventually Bruce runs out of stuff to throw at Goro, who by this time is bleeding from numerous wounds and probably isn't doing so hot due to the other tossed stuff. Bruce moves in, dodging his clumsy, slow blows and cutting him up with the blades on the sides of his gauntlets. Goro actually manages to land a single blow, sending Batman tumbling...only to rise to his feet, the armor having soaked up most of the damage.

Goro, by this point, is a bleeding wreck. Bruce has been concentrating his edged attacks on Goro's vulnerable thighs, and now the brute can barely totter along, muscles lacerated, blood pouring down to his ankles. The bat-shuriken stuck in his abdominal muscles mean that every twist, every punch causes further damage, further bleeding, further pain. The gas and explosives have left him partly deafened with a spinning head and teared-up eyes. He can barely see the dark figure before him, let along connect with him.

"This is where you fall down." Bruce moves in for the finish.

What makes you say that? Pretty much everyone has said he will win.

Metalhead dave doesn't seem to agree with you.. Siriel response at first sounded more like he was in favor of Goro though upon looking at it again maybe he just was trying to back Johnny up.

HtH, Bats is screwed. Johnny Cage nearly busted his hand just punching Goro in the nuts. And he only pulled off the win because Goro was stupid enough to break his sunglasses :p

But even the lames of Bats' gadgets will get him an easy win.

Goro isn't entirely invincible. All Bats has to do is blind him or cut his eyes so he can't see, leap on his back and suffocate him.

He does have to breathe.

I don't know. He was pretty damn invincible. He did win 9 Mortal Kombats before Johnny Cage came along. And he killed Kung Lao, who was pretty badass in Mortal Kombat Conquest, even though it got canceled before we got to see that fight.

The "Great" Kung Lao was merciful. The current MKers just kill anyone.
