The Twelve looks good.

It's Marvel's version of DC's Justice Society of America. DC should be proud.

I don't think thats a completely fair comparison.

Reading this, I don't think I'm going to be bored out of my mind by the fourth issue.

Regardless, Marvel is literally aping DC Comics JSA. Marvel is not DC Comics. And Joe should know better, but then we just had OMD....

Regardless, Marvel is literally aping DC Comics JSA.Apart from the provenance of the characters, what's similar?

Apart from the provenance of the characters, what's similar?

Golden Age characters, World War II/Nazi's, coming back into the present day world...

They also resemble the JSA in appearance too.

Golden Age characters, World War II/Nazi's, coming back into the present day world...That's incredibly reductive. By that logic, any attempt to use WWII-era characters is a JSA rip-off. Golden Age characters and Nazis in the modern day . . . Hell, by that logic Captain America's return in the Silver Age was a JSA rip-off.
They also resemble the JSA in appearance too.Well, sure. They're drawing on the same design sensibility. The Witness looks a lot like the Crimson Avenger, but so did half a dozen other characters of the time.

Marvel aped DC for the Supreme Powers mini.

And I'm thankful! If it's anything like that, then this will be fantastic.

Same writer, too... WEIRD...
