Beast (it showed his fun side)
Moodragon (arrogant telepath/telekinetic who believes she's a goddess when she's only human)
Ms. Marvel/Warbird (a warrior among men)
Scarlet Witch (her connection to Magneto & Chthon)
Quicksilver (arrogant speedster)
Vision ("The Android who Can Cry")
Wonder Man (best friend to Beast)
Captain Marvel II (a great female leader)
Wasp (she can be serious one minute than turn around be seriously funny the next)
Thor ("I Say Thee Nay"!)
Hercules (he's full of himself, yet I love how naive he is about human customs)
I don't have just one favorite Avengers. There's been so many good ones over the years...

Iron Man
Though, the list of Avengers I have loved is mighty long. But since IM is my favorite comic character, it stands to reason he would be my favorite Avenger ;)
Spider-Man. He's definately my fave comicbook character.
Though I do admit at times he doesn't feel like an Avenger.

Quasar. He was and will be awesome.

She-Hulk She was arguably the best one when she was on the team (aside from the founding members).

Captain America- a man who has the courage to face down gods.
Hank Pym- I can't place it, but I've always had asoft spot for this guy.
Wasp- fun-loving but can still get the job done.
Thor- because all cool battles need at least one god.
Wonder Man- I liked when he first joined and you had this powerful guy who despite being on the same level as Thor, was afraid of dying.
She-hulk- because she said she'd come over and shred all my comics if I didn't list her.

Thor,
Because he is a god and he puts in the hard yards for Earth when he doesn't really have to.

I'd have to say Cap, basically for all the reasons already listed (his determination, virtue, bravery, etc.). I also like Justice b/c he rose above his fanboy stage to become a true Avenger and the Vision, b/c even an android can cry :D. I also like some of the New Avengers, but outside of Luke, none of the new guys (like Iron Fist for instance) have really done much as an Avenger to warrant their inclusion here.

also like Spider-man of course as New Avenger.

Ms. Marvel, Captain Marvel (Monica) and She-Hulk are mine.
Sersi is another character I love very much, but not so much as an Avenger. She's just too powerful, and not in the way some others are (Thor, Captain Marvel II, for example) but in a way that makes her all too convenient unless you neuter her.

Captain America. Best Avenger of all time.
Ares. My favorite current Avenger.
Definitely Cap, but of the supporting players my favorites are Hawkeye and Moon Knight. I have soft spot for Justice, too.

Captain America. Yeah.
Followed closely by Wasp and Captain Marvel II.
On a side note, I'm shocked...I searched and searched but could not locate any existing general "favorite Avenger" thread. Very suprising.

Namor. Can't beat that attitude.
current favourite, probably spiderman or Iron Fist. Its really easy to like Ares over on Mighty, because the rest of the squad are coming off as quite bland.
Steve Rogers aka Captain America. A man who represented the American dream and our highest ideals.

Captain America. Yeah.
Followed closely by Wasp and Captain Marvel II.
On a side note, I'm shocked...I searched and searched but could not locate any existing general "favorite Avenger" thread. Very suprising.
Yeah Wasp has to be one of my favorites also I like her powers although there not the greatest, she utilizes them in situations when needed and she makes a good stand-in leader. Even if she is one of the weakest Avengers, I respect her a lot. Like when she went inside Hulks head, that was awesome!
Thus proving why Cap is my favorite cause it was his idea to send her in there.
In this order....
1. Hawkeye
2. The Vision
3. Cap

1. (tie) Wonder Man - I always enjoyed the personal side of Simon (the fear of dying, the sort of love triangle between himself, Wanda and the Vision) and just being a complete bad ass.
1. Captain America - Whenever I think of the Avengers I always think of Cap. He represents all that is good about the group to me.
2. The Vision - Just an awesome character. Too bad he isn't used like back in the day any longer.
3. The Scarlet Witch - Just hot.
4. Thor - For obvious reasons.
5. Hawkeye (Clint) - Always loved his attitude!

Spider-Man.
Becuase god knows he deserves it and yes, he's one of Marvel's biggest icons, Avengers are in his blood.

If you're somewhat new here you might want to check out the sticked Rules & Director Thread. Scroll down to the links for CBR's 50 Favorite Avengers and CBR's 50 Favorite Avengers villains. We did a big voting thing last year. It was fun...if not unsurprising.

The Beast, baby! Yeah!!
The blue-furred Beast has been a favorite of mine, his highbrow sense of humor, flamboyant attitude, and acrobatic skills are too cool. (I want to beat the idiot up with a whiffle ball bat who made him this 'lion' mutant... he was supposed to be a 'beast' modeled after an ape! I mean, come on! WHO COULDN'T SEE THAT!?)
Here's a question... who had the hairstyle first, Beast or Wolverine??? You know, the one Wolvie still sports...
And the Vision is another favorite... especially when he goes apetit on the Skrulls in space and threatens to kill them if they don't tell him where his chick is!

Thor's my favorite in terms of shock and awe. But in terms of character, guts and attitude? Gotta go Hawkeye.

Beast had it first since he first appears in his new form in Amazing Adventures #11 (1970). Wolverine's hair is not shown until sometime in Uncanny X-Men 5 years later.

Sider-man is my alltime favorite comic book character, but he doesn't fit the Avengers.
Thor is my favorite Avenger. Everything about the dude is epic, even when he gets turned into a frog, and the Avengers have to be epic.

Captain America. Bar none.
Just the thought that all of these ridiculously powerful people (gods, robots, mutants, etc.) took orders from this soldier, and had this reverence for him. That always spoke to me for some reason.

Hawkeye . When he first joined in the kookie quartet era 16- 30's v.1.
Pym ( Goliath) especially issues 1-60. He was a great , powerful and loyal character. too bad he's been made to be a nut job after that.
Thor. He was just the Baddass of the group.

1. Scarlet Witch: Not only my favourite Avenger, but my favourite Marvel character. I began reading Avegers with the Serpent Crown Saga, where Wanda really shines.
2. Vision: Such a fascinating and complex character.
3. Hawkeye: Brash, arrogant, short-tempered, but also totally embodying everything the Avengers stand for.
4. Captain America: Everyone's already covered what makes Cap so great.
5. Beast: Back before he decided t spend 15 years moping in an X-Men lab, Beast was a wonderful, entertaining character.

more specifically Iron Man is my favorite, despite the way he's been portrayed lately. He, more than anyone has been the glue that held the avengers together so long.

Spider-Man is the reason why i ventured into Avengers world(after 20 years of simply ignoring them),that said i think it´s time for him to get out of the team because it´s more than clear Bendis isn´t allowed to do anything other than make him crack jokes(all the freaking time!!),act like an immature brat and walk around the background being useless.
So my favorite(i don´t have a clear favorite),the one sympathize the most is Miss Marvel and after her Spider-Woman.
Don´t like Wonderman/Hawkeye and the Sentry
I´d like to see Bendis start writing with less focus on constant action and to give more attention on issues such as the team dynamic, their relashionships, what they think of each other, how they see themselves and the others and their place on the group, stuff like that.
Stuff like Joe Kelly and Steve Seagle started writing on the X-Men(until editorial mandate forced them to quit).
