From late 1959,to early 1965,Supes creator Jerry siegel,with no fanfare whatsoever, came back to write the character & many of the spin offs,such as the legion and bizzarros.To this day, many of these tales rank high,in the characters long history. A complete checklist,of every story he wrote for dc in this era,would be appreciated greatly,more, a special inexpensive reprint collection of his work. A real shame, for fans of the chacter, that dc turned to firing him again,in early 1965. Nobody had such a grasp,such understanding, such real love of the character as Siegel did. Otto binder comes in a close second, and a list of his dc stuff would be nice also.

That would be quite a list. If you pick up the three volumes of Showcase presents Superman, you'll find all those Siegal stories, among stories by Binder and others, with all the credits in the front of the book. And they are, in fact, reasonably inexpensive. Pick up the Supergirl and Superman Family volumes to round things out. :)
