The Beyonder plucks 1990's Slash (the guitarist) along with his favorite guitar & amplifier and teleports him to a club in London 1965. The people in the club include Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and Pete Townsend.

Slash plays his set. Would the three soon-to-be legends be impressed?

Music board, maybe?

The only thing I have to add to the question would be the rumored quote from Chet Atkins to Slash as they and several other guitarists played together in a Chet Atkins tribute. The quote?

"Son, you're going to be quite a guitarist once you learn how to play that thing."

I don't know. I doubt it. I haven't heard anything past then, but the Slash I remember from Guns 'n' Roses heyday was so cliche he should have been in Spinal Tap.

+1. Although I'll say that Clapton's out of his depth with Hendrix and Townsend.

Although I'll submit that maybe I've not heard enough Clapton. His 90s stuff seemed too Tuck Andress-y. I did like his Yardbirds stuff though.

I don't know. I doubt it. I haven't heard anything past then, but the Slash I remember from Guns 'n' Roses heyday was so cliche he should have been in Spinal Tap.And yet he's been asked to collaborate with Iggy Pop, Michael Jackson, Megadeth, Chic, and Ray Charles.
