Frank Castle makes his grand debut, and sells out the mutants to join Cage's Sapien force - and then gets amnesty out in Wakanda. Tigra dies from the injuries suffered in the last issue. Taskmaster gets a brutal beatdown from Cage in retaliation, rendering him paralyzed. Thunderbird then recruits the Kingpin and his assorted henchmen, including Elektra, Bullseye, and Gladiator, to help their cause, with free reign over NYC their return in the bargain.
Probably my least fave issue so far, I appreciated the Taskmaster beatdown (Cage was in full-on 70's cheese mode and I love it), but throwing Kingpin and Co. in the mix left me cold - almost too many characters in the pot without developing anyone else further...

I didn't mind the Kingpin's team getting a mention, since they seem to be a plot point, but the superfluous "Wolfpack" left me a little cold. It's a little too WHAT IF-y, y'know? For some reason, we need to see what everyone is up to.
Still, it's a fun issue. Taskmaster's utter failure to so much as faze Luke Cage is priceless.
It was a fun issue. Lots of action and the story moving forward nicely.
Showing cameos of where practicallly every super powered guy wound up did seem a bit much, but there's someone who's happy their favorite c-lister got a mention, so I'm ok with it.
The only problem is that Tigra died and there's two issues left. They're totally going to break their string of Tigra abuse unless someone desecrates her grave or something the next two issues. Really needed to pace themselves better.

Lol, good point on the Tigra abuse.

Actually, I like the appearance of the "Wolfpack", since this answers two of the three following questions.....
1.) If Power Pack existed within the HoM...
2.) If the New Warriors existed within the HoM...
AND
3.) If the LONERS will or may exist within the HoM...{Especially since there's only two 'chapters' to go}....
And good point about asking what 'everyone' up to; since I can't be certain about BOOM-BOOM's survival {from MOON KNIGHT's attack} within Issue #3.....
Still, it's a fun issue. Taskmaster's utter failure to so much as faze Luke Cage is priceless.
Too true.....especially since TM proved himself within AVENGERS: THE INITIATIVE #8....:evilsmile

Just thumbed through the series so far at the LCS.
Fun reads, street level goodness, not at all what I expected.
Cage is awesome as are his allies. He's the only really fleshed out character.
I think the art in. Thunderbird is a D!(k.
I believe Gage could accomplish big things for Marvel given the chance. I might seek this out in trade form.

A question: is this a what if? type book or the telling of Cage's team because if its the later this isn't how Hawkeye joined in House of M.
