Infitity Guantlet did great, was real popular.

Had crossover issues in Hulk, Spiderman, avengers, etc. etc.

We look at Annihilation and Annihilation conquest, storylines that kept away from earth. In the end, I do not think they did or are doing very well in sales due to centering around abscure characters and not involving mainstream characters.

You know you guys want THE SENTRY, Thor, and Iron Man Involved in Annihilation!

No thanks. Earth based characters work better in down to earth settings.

Frankly, I don't particular care for most cosmic stories or characters.

Agreed on the first part, opposite on the second. Earth based characters simply don't work in the cosmic setting. To me, earth based comics, other than Thor, generate boredom or hatred.

Though I think earth heroes should LARGELY stay independent, I think them occasionally involving themselves in the cosmic stuff works.

In Annihilation right now for example, I can easily see the Avengers or at least Hank Pym being involved for obvious reasons.

And certain earth based heroes are natural choices if some of the cosmic people need a little extra help. Thor, Dr. Strange, Sentry, Ms. Marvel.

Anything involving Skrulls can involve the Fantastic Four. Anything involving the Brood or Shiar can involve the Xmen.

And we know the Kree aren't best buds with the Avengers since Galactic Storm.

Wow. You could not be more wrong. When you add all the big name characters all you get is another big mess of a crossover that 9 times out of 10 is going to be very poorly thought out. Plus I think more people were saying good things about Annihilation than were about pretty much any other big Marvel event lately.

I'd prefer if earth had a crossover mini with no time taken from the regular runs of the characters involved respective storylines ala WWH: X-Men.

Call it "Annhilation: Avengers" or "Annhilation: Earth", just don't have it be too large or too time consuming. It'd be neat to see the Earth-side reaction to some of these cosmic events.

Actually, the Secret Invasion event may be a big cosmic crossover.

Since it's called an invasion, I wouldn't consider it a cosmic storyline.

HELL. NO. That would be as bad as killing the MJ/Peter marriage to me.
