Okay, I would have to say that this issue is average at best. Still it kind of makes me wonder what was the true reasoning behind Marvel for releasing this issue because it didn't read like anything special. Given the personality of the Hulk i'm assuming this is the original one from the early issues. The dialogue doesn't give me the impression that it is the popular stupid smash one. Also this really feels like a Marvel Adventures story except it was lacking in the humor department. There wasn't much depth to the story. The art is okay. Hulk goes to the to the Anatarctica turns in Bruce and hangs out with scientists studying global warming. Fin Fang Foom shows up and the two fight. I wasn't aware that the Fin Fang Foom wears people's skin. The fight I thought was less then stellar and should have taken up more of the book. This also included the first appearance of Fin Fang foom. Once again I have to ask myself. What was Marvel's point for releasing this?

From what I seen....this really sucked.
Fing Fang Foom talks about getting his ass beat by a "thunder God".
Hulk tells him to shut up and throws him to the Moon.

Gotta say Hulk won this match. He threw Fin to the moon, literally :D
Loved the art. Had a very old-school feeling to it. The issue went by quick though. Not too much of a fight. The Hulk was never really in trouble.

Really more an homage to the Kirby-era and that style of story. If you look at it from that perspective it's more of a fun read.

Havent read the book, but given the content I've heard discussed here I would most likely agree. Nostalgia is never a bad thing. I dont mind an old-school book here and there one bit.
Overall it wasn't that good I think. The fight was short and to me, very underwhelming. I think the majority of the comic was devoted to too much dialogue.

It did seem very Lee/Kirby old-school. Hulk throwing Foom to the moon reminded me of the devil horns on Magneto's helmet...I couldn't finish Uncanny X-Men #1 without cracking up. Simpler times.

Boy, and I thought The Thing got no respect. Dragon God Thingies getting punked, eh? :)
Yeah I thought this was pretty crappy too, the fight was waaay too short.
Also looks like Foom was originally orange not green.
