Can Iron Man please be killed off?

I mean I know I am not the only one out there who has a real hate on for Iron Man, The Fascist Drunk. Seriously, marvel is missing a real opportunity to please fans and have some real fun here. I say they bring Cap back from the dead and he beats Tony to death with a copy of the constitution.

Killing iron Man would please very few people, I would think.

He's one of the best and most interesting characters in the MU at the moment.

I'm pretty sure that like 90% of the people I talk to are big iron man fans at the moment. Also, there is exactly zero chance of them killing him within a year of the movie.

Then my plan B is still an option or just make him a skrull or say he was mind controlled (yet again) or just on a really bad bender. Just some way of redeeming the character.

I'm loving how Iron Man is being done.
He is starting his fall from grace.

hopefully he'll see the fault of his ways and realize Humans can't be molded to what things should be like.

If you've read "The Crossing" they killed him off when he was controlled by Kang and replaced him with a younger version for awhile.

Marvel pretend's that Punisher is a hero, and he is far from that.

You really have no idea what a fascist is...to call Iron Man one just proves you really don't know the meaning of the word. Also why would you kill off probably the most interesting character in the Marvel Universe? The man is about as conflicted as they come, it's great reading.

It would be a complete crap move to make him a Skrull. It would undo all the great development that has happened to this character. I never use to give a damn about Iron Man, now I love reading about him. His ongoing is well done, in the Avenger's books he is great, he finally is worth reading about.

During Civil War I loved to hate on Tony. He pissed you off sometimes but in the good interesting way, you wonna read more about him. I loved when Thor ate his face but I never wanted him dead and gone lol. And I think he's being done well right now and I like the book. He does more then your averege hero, he has to keep more in mind not just webbing up street muggers.

Right now he's working great as a protagonist you love to hate, really getting under people's skin and not necessarily making morally acceptable choices which makes for interesting stuff. I also like that he's on the 'lawful' side, he wouldn't work as an out and out villan and I LOVE the new Marvel-verse that's shades of grey instead of black and white.

I know some feel he's over exposed at the moment, but it's making me more and more intrigued, might start picking up his solo soon. Anyone have any recommendations (jumpin on points etc)?

Tony is not a fascist at heart. He just uses tactics favored by them in support of them. I do know the meaning of the word. I don't want him killed just jailed.

Doom is an Interesting character but I usually don't want him to win. The punisher is Interesting as is the New Ultron in the Conquest cross-over. Like those characters I really want to see Tony lose.

Hill and Gyrich I want to see dead. They have been succesful at Evil too long without any form of justice.

Even I don't want him dead. His current descent into a hell of his own making is too interesting, even if I'm only keeping up with it in the reviews. Much as I don't like the current marvel output there are many that do and while I will chat on the net that is as far I go. I do however hope that after the skrulls conquere Earth Tony spends some time as a slave to some decadent skrull queen.

But don't kill him. Too many are enjoying his character at the moment.
