Okay, I'm being a bit snarky, but from this forum you wouldn't know that Superman #671 came out this week.
Seems Busiek is trying to do a wacky silver age Supes story without the "WTF" reaction many of those tales brought out.
The art was all right but not as strong as it's been lately on the Superman titles.

I didn't enjoy this story. I didn't like the charity stunt (for multiple reasons--for example, won't it still damage the moon?), Supes knowing exactly where Guildford County is (does he know where every place is?), these new insect creatures and their powers happening to be just the right tools to take down Superman, and a some minor scrutinies.
At least the art is pleasant.
I liked the insect people. I don't think this is meant to be Shakespeare. It's just going to be a fun. little three-issue run. We need more of those and less 20-part crossovers.
And I don't know where they found Peter Vale, but they need to keep him.

I liked the charity stunt (and Superman explicitly says that he designed the stunt in a way that would not harm the moon).
Another good issue in a long recent run of good, fun stories.

I like that Insect Queen is back, but--and this is not a complaint, just a curiosity--I wonder why this story wasn't done as an "untold tale" during Clark's non-Superboy days. Seems like it would have been perfect; gives us a peek at what life was like for Clark in those years, and gives the new Insect Queen story the same chronology as the original.

I liked the story, the only part i didn't like was the way clark explained why he was being hurt by the insects attacks every time they hit him with an new attack.
I know this is just so 'we' know whats going on, but i think that most superman fans can figure it out with being told in such a dull way.
