Recommended PS3 games

So I bought a PS3 the other day. I'm not a heavy gamer, buy my friend has been bugging me to buy one, so that's that. I purchased Medal of Honor 3 (cause that's what he plays) and Elder Scrolls Oblivion. He also let me borrow Assassins Creed. So I need some recommendations for some good games. My wife likes flight sims, so maybe something like that. And perhaps some good action and fight (like the old Double Dragon games).

Uncharted and Ratchet & Clank are both supposed to be awesome. Beyond that, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of must-buys.

There's Warhawk, that's an action/arcade flight game, but it's online-only.

Unreal Tournament 3
Warhawk (yes, it is online only, but it is not just a flight game. There are ground troops and vehicles)
Resistance: Fall of Man
Madden 2008
NCAA 2008
Tiger Woods 2008
The Darkness
Ninja Gaiden Sigma

These are just ones I have played and liked. I also have Oblivion and Assassin's Creed. I just finished AC and really liked it.
