Last night, my housemate who has a launch console got the red ring of death obviouslly he was pretty ticked off (to make matters worse he used a cooling system which from what I hear makes the warranty null & void) and it got me thinking about my own console. I bought a refurbished Xbox 360 from Game Stop this past August and I did buy the one year warranty because that is just something that my old man has taught me- pay extra for a warranty or you'll regret it later. So long story short I was just looking online to help out my buddy a bit and I found out that Game Stop is no longer offering warranties for xbox 360s. So my question is will they still honor my current warranty if (god forbid) something happens to my system? Does Microsoft's warranty policy cover used/refurbuished systems? And finally my last question, do you think it would be wise to sell/trade in my current system and get a brand new system so it can at least be protected for 3 years and I can sleep a little easier? I have been playing a lot lately and with some awesome games on the horizion I imagine I'll be playing even more. Thanks for the help in advance!
And if anyone wants to play some games, my gamer tag is soniklife. I have these games on the xbox 360:
nhl 08
star wars battlefront 2
halo 3
gears of war
skate
nba 07
