Um, they look like a couple of gonzo porn stars I've seen. There's really not a bigger story to it, unless someone here can confirm or disconfirm it definitively.

Becca (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0532900/)

Jules (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1297015/)

No, but they definitely have that look.

IMDB does list porn work.

Howdy folks. Spent the morning at the resort's fitness centre and then watched football (American) with Dad's new wife. Decent opportunity to get to know her but their PDAs are a bit much. Still, it's good that they are happy.

Yeah, I hate people with overly-ostentatious Blackberrys and Treos too.

Caught "Charlie Wilson's War" with Sarah yesterday(our third movie this weekend. We're on a roll). Raunchier than you might expect, but a fine film nontheless. Casual moviegoers might expect Hanks to steal the show, but it's Philip Seymour Hoffman who really makes the movie as good as it is. My only complaint is that the exposition(and thus, the end meaning of the film) is a bit abbreviated.

That's like my last Wednesday.

Woke up with the water turned off only to find out there was a water main break. I discovered this as I was walking to the bus stop because they were rerouting traffic as they were digging for the main at the end of my street. I had to walk to the other end to catch the bus (hopefully). Once on the bus I had to manoeuver (sic) around someone that preferred to sit in the aisle than behind a bench and slammed my knee into the corner of the opposite bench. The bruise only started showing up yesterday.

He's also very good in Owning Mahowny and Capote.

Problem is they are all in their 50's to early 60's. I shake my head, cause he has been dead for the last 40 years. I don't see his ghost shoving a bottle in their face.

I had a former therapist, the one I seeing back in SOCAL, basically tell me that. It helps to know where the problems come from so that you can determine the best treatment--if it's something biological, talk therapy by itself is going to be ineffective, and if it's the product of childhood abuse/neglect, medication by itself is going to be ineffective--but once you've pinpointed the cause as trauma from childhood abuse and neglect, dwelling on that doesn't help. Working on fixing things does.

It was not a silent night
There was blood on the ground
You could hear a woman cry
In the alleyways that night
On the streets of David's town

And the stable was not clean
And the cobblestones were cold
And little Mary full of grace
With the tears upon her face
Had no mother's hand to hold

It was a labor of pain
It was a cold sky above
But for the girl on the ground in the dark
With every beat of her beautiful heart
It was a labor of love

Noble Joseph at her side
Callused hands and weary eyes
There were no midwives to be found
In the streets of David's town
In the middle of the night

So he held her and he prayed
Shafts of moonlight on his face
But the baby in her womb
He was the maker of the moon
He was the Author of the faith
That could make the mountains move

It was a labor of pain
It was a cold sky above
But for the girl on the ground in the dark
With every beat of her beautiful heart
It was a labor of love
For little Mary full of grace
With the tears upon her face
It was a labor of love

So I rolled in to work today at 2:30 to work my little four hour shift and noticed that everybody else there is from the graveyard shift. I called my boss to see what's going on and he told me that they switched our shift to 10:30 on Saturday but nobody bothered to let me know. I'm not really upset about it, as I live across the street from where I work so I only lost like fifteen minutes of my day. I just thought it was pretty indicative of the kind of atmosphere we've got going on. That place is a complete madhouse.

Hah. Did it. It's only four hours now until time to open presents, so she eventually saw the wisdom of not arguing further.

Monster Society of Evil and the Absolute Editions of New Frontier and The Long Halloween are mine, mine, mine. And Bone, books 4-6.

I've read my trade of The Long Halloween several times, but the others are new.

I love these Absolute Editions. There's just something about a really well constructed book, aside from the contents, just the book itself, that I love. I love picking up a book and it having some heft to it, a feeling of weight and density that just screams "thick, high grade paper".

Why does my father like to put his mouse on minimum sensitivity? I have to pick it up half a dozen times to move the mouse across the screen. He old.

Gary! Your nephew is the guy from Matt Algren's dancing thingy! Amazing how people connect over these forums...That's supposed to be me, and you're terribly complimentary. Or drunk.

Probably drunk.
I am still here, its not bad actually. Its nice and quiet, and they are far removed, which is nice in a peace and serenity sort of way. Of course, once you go a bit, its all chain stores and restaurants as far as the eye can see.I'm leading the cause to get our motto changed to "Ohio: Land of Ten Thousand Applebee's."

Glad to hear you're enjoying it. And that the weather broke a little after yesterday.

Good work!

What was wrong with it?
Something about the graphics processor. Animation's been running at 1/4 speed for the past six weeks and since I only have access to it on weekends (and not a lot then), it's taken this long to isolate it. Apparently some gunk made it in when an update came through. So I got to find a program to scrub the system clean and start over. It worked on the first try!

Like I said, a miracle.

Words and music by Andrew Peterson

Gather ‘round, ye children, come
Listen to the old, old story
Of the pow’r of death undone
By an infant born of glory
Son of God, Son of Man

Gather ‘round, remember now
How creation held its breath
How it let out a sigh
And it filled up the sky with the angels
Son of God, Son of Man

So sing out with joy for the brave little boy
Who was God, but he made himself nothing
Well he gave up his pride and he came here to die
Like a man

Therefore God exalted him
To the place of highest praises
And he gave him a name above every name
That at the very name of Jesus, Son of God

We would sing out with joy for the brave little boy
Who was God, but he made himself nothing
Well he gave up his pride and he came here to die
Like a man

So in heav’n and earth and below
Every knee would bow and worship
And ev’ry tongue would proclaim
That Jesus, He reigns with the angels

So sing out with joy for the brave little boy
Who was God, but he made himself nothing
Well he gave up his pride and he came here to die
Like a man

Gather ‘round, ye children come
Listen to the old, old story
Of the power of death undone
By an infant born of glory
Son of God, Son of Man

12-year-old boy. I do not want to think what a walking hormone like my brother exploding would be like. He got a 4000 point XBox Live card, and I'm pretty sure he's already spent it all buying episodes of something called Astro Boy.

So I got my father to watch Battle Royale tonight. Funny thing is, he liked it. Except he had trouble with the core concept of why Battle Royale was going on. He kept expecting more of a reason besides the text in the beginning.

Now we're watching The Great Escape. And he's bitching that the Nazis wouldn't have let McQueen have his glove and ball in the cooler.

Yeah that's it. He had ten episodes from the 1600 point card he got as a reward for his grade card, and now has another 25 queued up for download.

I anticipate that he's going to try to con his sister out of her card so he can get the rest of them. I shall encourage her to be selfish and use her points to get things she wants.

Well, crap. There was my company-enforced Grinch moment for the night. Nope, sorry kid, you can't just "sit in our lobby for a while". Sarcastically "Merry Christmas" me all you want, they're watching us like hawks. Cameras all over this place now, and we're having a problem with one of the desk clerks giving her buddies free rooms, so they're going over EVERY second of the recordings. :(

Bad enough I had to deal with a recalcitrant fire alarm going off every 2 minutes, but it finally wouldn't stop at all so I got to pull the plug on it completely.

It was Christmas Eve, I was standin' in the parking lot
of "Fabulous Girls, Nude - Nude - Nude"
In the car next to me there was a young lady givin' a blow-job
to a man in a Santa Claus suit
His beard was crooked, his hat askew
Embarrassed, I turned to go
When from the back seat of that Mazda I heard somebody shout "Oh Baby, don't
stop"

And a merry "Ho-ho-ho"

When I walked inside, I ordered a beer and a double shot of whisk
And in three minutes I had fallen in love
The DJ announced "Ladies and gentlemen, from Forth Worth, Texas: Lady Godiva"
And I sat and worshipped 'neath the angel above
At the end of her set she brushed her hair
Came and sat on the stool to my right
And said "Will you buy me a drink?"
My heart beats fast, my trousers grew tight
And wittily I replied "Uhhh...."

She showed me a picture of her kid
Said during the day she's an art student
She dances six nights a week for slobs and idiots like this
Of course, present company excluded.

On Donner, on Dancer, on Comet, on Blitzen
I'm lost in the valley of the supervixens
Worshippin' at the feet of the goddess above
I'm a pilgrim in the temple of love, ma, just a pilgrim in the temple
of love

Well then Santa came stumblin' in, and somebody shouted
"Hey Santa, where's your elves?"
He sat down on the stool to my left
And the bartender took a vodka bottle of the shelf
He asked if Mrs. Claus had called
To tell her he worked on the late shift at the mall
And he was sorry, but he just got through
I turned and I asked him:
"How's the kid this year, Santa?"
Beneath his breath he whispered "A merry fuck you"

Well then the owner come over and he was a short gfat ugly guy
With a funny kind of pushed-in face
He shook my hand and said it was the first time
They'd ever had a real superstar in this place
Lady Godiva bought me a few drinks
And words came out of my mouth
What they were, I couldn't guess
But it was something about showgirls, lapdancing, motley crue
You can guess the rest

Well I walked outside, snow was falling
I had some toys to put together - it was Christmas time
Santa followed me into the parking lot
And threw up on the hood of the car next to mine
I gave him my handkerchief, pulled out onto the highway
And as I sat at the light
I swear I saw a sleigh with a dozen of reindeers
Pull up out of the parking lot and cut across the mall
And a voice shouted "Merry Christmas to all you assholes
and to all a good fucking night!"

- Bruce Springsteen

Yes, really.

But he's insisting on cuddling up with me. So I guess he still likes me.
