to paraphrase tennant to davison:

DHX To Daniel Ketch... You Were My Ghost Rider.

i loved Danny (loved vengeance even more, he was my first Marvel Legend) but i was totaly willing to give blaze a look in, but i'm absolutely confused

what happened to danny?

where is noble kale and vengeance?

how did noble kale mess with johnny blaze? as mentioned in the newsrama article.

do both ghostriders still exist? and if so does that mean their both angels now?

HEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPP!

To be honest, I don't think anybody here can give you a straight answer since Ghost Rider coninutity is almost non-existent.

I'm starting to think that the ever-changing orgin and immunity to continuity are actually two of Ghost Rider's super-powers.

Just about every answer there is "don't know" - Danny & Noble haven't been seen since they were remerged in a late Peter Parker: Spider-Man v1 issue.

The only one that can really be answered is the "mess with" one - that's just a writer who hasn't read the stories messing up, and hope it doesn't make it into the comic...

Here's hoping that the new writer has done his homework. The Noble Kale part in this interview was in fact, scary. He did mention Zarathos in the same sentence, too. And when it comes to "him", there is lot of need for explaining on my side. But for now, i'm just very, very disappointed with the current series.

I still miss the Danny version of Ghost Rider.

Anyways, Ghost Rider is just too confusing a character to keep up with. Makes me wish Superboy Prime punched a wall or something.

Tom Welling Prime should punch out everything that's been done to Ghost Rider since his original origin.

Same here, I liked the old Dan Ketch series.

Maybe, they will say, since then, its been skrulls. That'll fix things! ;)

You mean where he was a cowboy who got a wacky glowing Indian suit?

Not quite as far back as I intended, but it would STILL be less confusing than what we've got now. :p

Honestly, if you ignore all the subsequent retcons, the latest one makes a lot of sense when applied to the original origin. Well, more than Noble Kale did, anyways. It's more the Ketch GR that screws everything up, but he always did.

It's obvious that you don't like the Ketch Rider, but you don't have to look at the 90s series to see, that Way's new origin didn't work that great. I'd mention Zarathos, right ? But i even think, that Way's retcon origin not even making that much sense, when you go through the original run from Gary Friedrich. When all that Roxanne did in Marvel Spotlight # 5, was praying, why was it then so important for Satan to kill her ? Or is the part where she command Satan to disappear still in continuity? Besides, she seemed a little bit too sursprised for someone that is praying because a devil wants her friends soul.

Way's idea really just working when you ignore everything else, he didn't mention, which is an awfully lot. Maybe there is a way to making sense out of all this, but that would require a lot of explaining.

well, I haven't read the original issues, but if he has ignored things, that sucks.
