B. Clay Moore is everywhere in 2008: “Hawaiian Dick,” ‘’’76” and now a three-issue run on “Superman Confidential,” in which he, Phil Hester & Ande Parks look at the Supes & Jimmy's early days together.

The concept seems pretty interesting. I have yet to actually pick up an issue of Confidential, so I hadn't realized it was out of mainstream continuity. But I may start reading this book anyway just to see what it's like.

I've read a few issues of Confidential. And it had never been stated, as far as I can tell, that its stories were out of continuity.

Confidential has turned into a big, steaming pile of crap after the Cooke/Sale arc that never finished. The Mertropolis story and the New Gods thing after it were horrible.

Hm. Can anyone verify if the continuity's been stated anywhere else? I'm curious.

For what it's worth, I assume he meant out of current continuity.
Most of the stories take place in the past, after all.

Good to hear the answer from you. Hope to see you around more often.
Continuity is such a mess...

But they also take place out of the current continuity's past. Jimmy Olsen's "origin" has recently been re-written again in the main books, and from the looks of things, I'd say your Confidential story will contradict it.

So did I!! Its a shame he can't reconcile with Marvel or DC. If he continues to do comics, would he rather have an audience of 15-20 K or 150K+?
He should be doing X-men!!!!

Aw, I thought this would be about time travel!
Jimmy should have a pet T-Rex, now who's the loser! Ha ha ha!

I haven't been impressed by any of the "Superman Confidential" runs so far. I'd like to see some old favorites like Byrne, Stern or Jurgens have a crack at this series--some guys who have proven that they really "get" the character, and maybe infuse it with a little life.
