When you consider that Sage just absorbed a LOT of info then it seems likely Sage could cope with all the woogie going on in Rogue's head. SO do you think Rogue absorbing Sage would have given her the 00BER MENTAT powers; making her sane and battleworthy? And, knowing that it would be lethal at the moment, would Xavier and Emma Frost, the moral compasses of the X-men, allow Sage to be used as Rogue's cure? Is it worth the risk if she'd be part of Rogue's mind FOREVER?

No but it would give Rogue the ability to process that amount of information and not be insane/catatonic. However even if Sage was around I suspect a well placed wall will knock her out somehow.
