Welcome to Operation Remix, the thread where you will redesign characters according to the theme. The themes will remain open for an indefinite amount of time, so no pressure, but they will change with separate threads. I figured this will be a cool way to flex our design muscles for those of us who like designing characters ala "Project CBRunway" style. The theme for the first Operation Remix is "Famous Comic Duos".
Your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to redesign a famous comic duo, such as Batman and Robin, Cloak and Dagger, Quantum and Woody, etc...so you can choose who you'd like to redesign.
Here's an example of what I did with Hawk and Dove:
Hawk and Dove have been reimagined time and time again. I went with the duo where there was a female Dove(Dawn??) and a male Hawk(Hank Hall). I decided to go with the same basic color scheme, change the hairstyles, specifically with Hawk to make him look more Hawk-like. I also wanted them to be more youthful looking, as to fit in with the "Teen Titans" theme. I wanted to achieve a more stream-lined, modern look for the theme, while still maintaining a classic vibe. I threw in some backgrounds for fun.

Okay, so get the idea? You don't have to submit three pics at all. Oh and for the writers here in the Showcase, if you are inspired by a piece, you could write a fiction piece depicting one of the redesigned characters, or imagine your own story that fits the theme. Artists and writers could work together to reimagine, or redesign characters together as well. The more detail there is makes it more fun.
