I was reading through Hush the other day and I noticed something. When Bruce visited Metropolis and he visited the Daily Planet, Lois was talking about the "owner" of the company. Is it commonly known that Wayne Tech owns the Daily Planet or was that just PIS?

Wow... Batman must get some awfully good coverage in the Daily Planet. He's the big honcho over the guys who work there, and their two lead reporters (Clark Kent and Lois Lane) knows it. :p

I'm not an expert on this, but no I don't believe it was ever previously established. Of course the story adds other pieces of continuity that weren't there as well so it's not too surprising.

Is it commonly known that Wayne Tech owns the Daily Planet or was that just PIS? It was established in Loeb's Superman that Bruce bought the paper after Luthor sold it off. Of course according to the current Superman writers thats no longer true OYL and Batman has divested himself of both the paper and Superman's Apartment.
