You know the type.

Guys who LOVE to stare at their own reflection in the mirror.

Are there guys like that in anime?

anime practically invented this type of character..

Kuno Tatewaki, though he chases the girls he finds himself to be the most handsome thing on gods green earth.

Vega from the Street Fighter series is the epitome of this notion.

There is this dude from Bleach who looks like he's in drag, he's also one of those types.

I know he's technically not an anime character, but Kuja is another one. I would actually go as far to say that his narcissism eclipses most since one of the main reasons he wanted to destroy his world was because he thought it didn't deserve to exist if he died.

Shishio's whole ideology (and perception of himself) reaks of egomanical narcissism since he believed he deserved to live above others because he was strong and the weak only exist to "feed" him and his ambitions.

There's also Tsukishiro from Flame of Recca and Iulius of Rave Master.

this episode of Bleach has a good example of how narcissistic he can be.

Are you joking? There are a lot.

The one that stands out for me is Hotohori from Fushigi Yuugi. In one episode a child says to him "Mister, you're as beautiful as a lady!" and he kneels and embraces the child, saying "What a wonderful child!"

...um, at least, that's from memory.

Another favourite is Mid-Boss from Disgaea. In the game he has this exchange with one of the villains:

"Who are you!?"

"I... am THE DARK ADONIS!!!"

"You're... what!?"

"I am... THE DARK ADONIS!!!"

It's funny because he shouts it.
