So I'm fresh at message boards and just found this one, I've been posting on the Hellboy one for a bit. Our first issue came out in Oct. 24th I think and 2 just came, out. I had ordered this first issue, and read a review online with comparisons to Hellboy before I got the issue. The review wasn't very positive, but I have to say I really enjoyed the first issue, and didn't really see many similarities to Hellboy at all.

Thanks guys, we knew we'd get HB comparisons, and Perhapanauts, and X-files and well....everyone who's made the comparison that reads the book says its nothing like any of those, even on the HB boards. the Perhapenaut guys read it and gave us a great review, they were really worried we'd have similarities and the only one was we both used bigfoot.

So yah thanks. As for the trade I really hope it comes out soon. The first arc reads great as a trade, the arcs after iisue one are shorter for the next while. Issue six'll be a great jumping on point for anybody who wanted to see how the first arc was before getting into a new ongoing.

Man, that's pretty amazing.

I can't tell you how much I'm loving Proof. Just last month I was lamenting the fact that there didn't seem to be any new and interesting books, then WHAM, Proof hit me in the face!

I love it.

Just read issue #2. It was as good as #1 but i din't really dig the art on the second part of the issue. No real reason for it to be soooo sketchy.

The extras at the end of each issue are a big plus.

This series is currently 3 issues in with the 4th issue shipping next week.

It's a really entertaining monster book in the same vein as X-Files except the lead investigators are a Sasquatch and a young girl that work from "The Lodge".It's a joint venture between the US and CAD govts to monitor and protect undiscovered creatures or "cryptids".

It has a great concept,never being silly at any moment.Lots of back matter with every issue,NO ADS,24 pages of story and only 2.99.

I flatered and honoured that everyone likes the book, I'm working on issue 8 right now (almost) done and can't wait for it to be printed, theres a ton of crazy shit in it. If anyone checks out Previews you know, the next arc is about food, poaching, and well dinosaurs for everyone who doesn't now you know. Yup Dinosaurs well kinda.
