How do you see him getting defeated?

Ideally, I'd love to see him get completly depowered, so he'd die battered and bleeding, knowing he'd lost everything...
...preferably by his own fault.

Since he has Kal-el's genetics, he will eventually come to his senses and realize he is a genocidal putz.
Thus, he will fly into a red sun, till his power's fade and he is incinerated.
Then, we will find out that that wasn't Prime at all but the Red Ring Crab (not a whale and not a bug), that made a prime clone to mess with the GLC. The real Prime is in a capsule in Long Island Sound. The capsule will surface and Prime will rejoin the X-Men.

I'm still seeing him turn good by the end of Final Crisis and die to the hands of the major player there.

He successfully restores Earth-Prime, then succumbs to poisoning from that world's kryptonite.

Depends on who draws him.

The thread title has me thinking what an appropriate name Super-Manboy Prime is for the character.

- defeat by the Atom who rewrites his genetic code
- discovers super-powers are physically impossible in the real world (which is the new Earth-Prime).
- succumbs to gold kryptonite from Earth-Prime.
- gets shot in the head by Dan Didio.
- gets imprisoned in a crystalline jail cell where any attempt to punch through will retcon himself out of existence.
- defeat by the pre-Crisis Superman.
- defeat by the Spectre, who finally gets off his keister to dole out vengeance.
- defeat by the new and improved Superboy--a reconstituted Kon-El who has had his Luthor DNA replaced with the key sequences of every Superman in the multiverse.

Superman-Prime will be defeated by...Superman-Prime. You read that right. I think another version of himself will defeat him. I don't think he'll be killed, though.

I believe that, in the end, Prime finnaly archieves what he wants: Earth-Prime. And then, in his first moment of calm, contemplates what he did before and makes shocking (for him) discoveries: He's a total psychopath, he's not the true Superman and now, he's a comic book character. In the end, Prime acknolodges how he's dangerous to the world and tries to cut himself, falling miserably. Then, Prime jumps into a red sun and kills himself.

When you think about it, aren't all super-heroes man boys?

I don't think he will.

This would be pretty interesting......he ends up on Earth Prime (that would be completely different mind you) so he loses and can do absolutely nothing about it.

Wow. Suddenly a happy ending turns into the creepiest thing ever.
Among other things, Superboy-Prime never showed any interest in any version of Lois Lane... And there was no Lois Lane on his earth.

I think DC is going to kill him in a way nobody would expect. I think it would be kind of wrong for him to turn good, but it might depend on what "good" means. Like he would never help any of the New Earth heroes to destroy the main villain, but he would destroy the villain if he knew that his world would be in danger (if Earth-Prime is back).
I have a theory that Earth-1 will be revealed in Final Crisis. I'm hoping that it'd be the Earth that Alexander Luthor created in Infinite Crisis. So I think it will be Pre-COIE Earth 1 and Earth Prime merged together where there are heroes and they have their own comic book based on the actual events that happen on that Earth. I could be wrong, but it would bring Infinite Crisis into Final Crisis storyline rather than Superman Prime and and the creation of the new Multiverse.

Is DC One Million considered like an actual canon future to this Earth or is potentially another one of the Earths out there? If so, I'd say the original Superman-Prime could most likely take this Prime or, well, anybody for that matter I guess, though I highly doubt they'd pull out a duex ex machina like that for something.
i think he'll die in final crisis, to kind of be full circle.

How's this for irony? Superboy/man Prme is killed by Jason Todd, whom he retcon-punched back to life.
Maybe Jason could find a measure of redemption if he dies a second time taking Prime down.

I got it, Tim Drake tries to take down Superman Prime and Prime says something like "I'm not going to let Robin the boy wonder take me down" and Red Robin comes by saying "How about a grown up Robin?" and then he kills Superman Prime, now that would be awesome.

Agreed.:D I wonder if he'll play any role in Final Crisis...
EDIT: I mean, how could DC name Superboy Prime after Morrison's Superman Prime?

After Infinite Crisis, I dunno. I haven't read the story, but I heard that it isn't an Elseworlds.
Since there are 25 (or so) earths that we don't know about yet, it's a possibility. However, I don't think DC will use that Deus Ex Machina. Why? Because, well, he's a god, who on top of everything, has a GL ring.
He'd solve the whole crisis in less than a heartbeat.
