OMAC was another of his mad, mad series from the 70s and I've been waiting for it forever.

Fantastic. I have all of the issues, but I'll pick this up anyway. I love the idea of seeing OMAC in hardcover.
Now let's see the Demon reprinted as well.

Skimming over that whole "all the New Gods dying" thing, I see... ;) :p
But yay for a OMAC collection. I had to part with it while unemployed but that's one of the few "must own again" books.....

Yeah well, without Kirby they're not really the New Gods anyway.
And we are getting Vol 4 of their omnibus next year.

Which, if we're lucky, may contain the original version of Hunger Dogs, as opposed to the edited and recut version that saw print.

I really don't mind the version as published. I think the ending where Orion decides that love is more important than a final battle with his father was a lot more mature than some of the other finales I've heard were planned.
But that's just me.

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with Hunger Dogs as published. I'm just interested to see what Kirby's original version of the story was. When hte omnibuses were first announced, there was some talk of both versions being published in omnibus 4, but I haven't read anything about that idea since.
