My friend showed me this game, Onslaught (http://onslaught.playr.co.uk/), a few months ago.

The game's gone through a few updates since then with increased level difficulty and "challenge" games.

It find it's easy to get lost in playing.

I've gotten to wave 450 on easy. I'm trying to do the challenge game of 4000 kills in 10 minutes.

You can upgrade the turrets so they shoot faster, wide range, better ammo.

Also if you group them in certain combos you can create mega-turrets.

Is this game a SHUMP (shoot 'em up) like Darius Gaiden or a FPS like Halo? If you like SHMUPs, you should try Geometry Wars. Sounds similiar to this game.

little bugs, and vipers (from BSG), windows (MS), computers go by on a road map and you shoot them before they get into your little army base.
