Have y'all seen this? It's the last-minute substitute variant cover for ALL-STAR BATMAN & ROBIN #8, out today. I was freaked out by it. Not sure if I like it, hate it, or am just freaked out by it. Opinions?

It created pages of debate on Newsarama. Neal's son Josh was in the middle of it.
I'm sort of on the fence. I'm glad he's doing Batman again, but I'm not sure what to make of this.
Did they release it in black and white or was it colored?

Clever, but does it have much to do with the story?

that looks pretty sweet to me... I'm not usually a cover-buyer, but I'd buy that just for the cover if I found it in a $1 box.

It's an interesting picture. I don't love it, but it is interesting.
I like the cover; it's too bad that this cover is the alternative, varient one though.

I've seen him play with stuff like this a lot better. A lot smoother. Something grating about the perception switch I can't put my finger on. It IS interesting, but I can't stand to look at it more than a few seconds.

I agree. It's interesting, but I'm not moved by it.
I think it only works in Black and Whtie.... cause if you think about it, the cowl of Batman is a really hard thing to blend into a double exposure head shot!
