Charlie Brown Christmas Soundtrack is good.
Not Elvis Christmas. His voice is SO bad on that album. He sounds like he's drunk and about to pass out.

Phil Spector's Christmas Album - among other fantastic, Wall O' Sound-type, uptempo versions of Christmas classics, is the original version of "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" by Darlene Love (though most people now know the song via U2's sexless version).
Essential stuff.

I love the 3-CD set of "Christmas Cocktails" that Ultra Lounge put out a couple of years ago.
Get to hear such Great singers: Nancy Wilson, Dean Martin, Peggy Lee, Lou Rawls, Johnny Mercer, Lena Horne, Nat King Cole, and many others.
Some of songs are: Christmas Kisses, Winter Wonderland, Frosty the Man,
Marshmellow World, Christmas Is, Cha-Cha all the way, and lots of other
FUN tunes to tap your toes by.

Low did a nice Christmas ep... if you like Low. YOu probably heard their cover of Little Drummer Boy in GAP commercials several years ago.
You can get it and hear some of it (in their player on the front page, down at the bottom of the palylist) at their site:

The Barra MacNeils Christmas album is a good one. The 'Love Actually' soundtrack has Olivia Olsen's version of 'All I Want For Christmas Is You', which is excellent. A group called the Mistletones did a couple of a cappella Christmas albums, and they're both good (especially the one with 'Christmas Dream' on it).

The only Christmas song I have to hear (once) every year is
'Snoopy's Christmas' by the Royal Guardsmen..............
might not fall under "good classic Christmas music", though......

Classic X-mas music, in the traditional sense: Andy Williams. I grew up on his christmas tunes. He even has a special on PBS dealing with his Xmas specials over the last 30+ years.

Oh, and the Ventures have a damn fine version of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer".

Vince Guraldi's soundtrack for A Charlie Brown Christmas is priceless. It's smooth. It's jolly. It's something very very special.
If you like indutrial music - A Dark Noel is a wonderful album by many of the genres best talents.
For guitarists - A Merry Axemas Volumes 1 and 2. Good stuff from Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Zakk Wylde....and the list goes on.

Every year on WCBS in NY DJ Harry Harrison used to give a yuletide greeting called May You Always. This is actually a version from before WCBS but it will do.
