I know he is supposedly up there when it comes to well known writers. Yeah I know he works on tv shows and Rich even had a rumor he maybe the new editor in chief awhile back. But seriously the only thing I remember Loeb writing was the story he did in Wolverine about Romulus which I thought was awful. What good ideas if any did Loeb bring to Marvel? I for one can't think of any.

I actually like the Evolution story arc it was well written. I think most people hate it because it throws a twist in the wolverine canon.

I loved/hated the evolution arc. I loved the whole finally ending the Wolverine/Sabretooth conflict once and for all, but hated the whole blonde vs. brunettes/ Romulus/ Wild CHild randomly becoming evil again thing.
If he cut out the whole stupid blonde vs. brunette thing and everything having to do with it. If he focused more on Sabretooth and Wolverine's history, it would have been way better.

I hate him. He's annoying and looks pathetic.

I don't know if this was him exactly, but having the original Squadron Supreme show up in Ultimate Power, that was genius!

If you ask me, a green looking Hulk in purple pants is a whole lot gayer looking than a red one.

I agree with both of those statements. Like Heroes the TV Show, Long Halloween, and so on . . . he's a stronger writer when not operating in continuity.

The whole Sabretooth/Wolverine battle was about as anticlimactic as a morning dump. And about as well-written, too.

I agree 100% on that. When he is off doing his own thing without having to worry about continuity he is not too bad. Everything he does in a mainstream book just is so full of plot holes it is like he never had read anything with the character in it before. He really showed his weakness there writng Superman/Batman. Thats why I am avoiding his Red Hulk book.
Batman:Hush was really enjoyable....really enjoyed reading that ALOT, but his wolverine evolution arc had a chance to be really good...i can't work out if i like the whole lupine aspect but bianchi's art really made it for me. As for anything else he's written i have no idea. Im dissapointed Ultimates #3 isn't written by millar, i felt this was his and hitch's project.

He did Spider-Man: Blue with Tim Sale and that was a wonderful mini-series - a real 'feel good' story with some very poignant moments that really played on the heartstrings.

I fall in the same camp.
The Color books play it safe and tell a good standalone story, the Fallen Son stuff was pulled off well since they show interesting character reactions and Jeph for the most part got those characters.
Wolverine had a lot of problems conceptually and some character wise as well but not all of it was bad.
