a live action movie is definitely in development, but nothing besides the director (Ruain Robinson) has been announced. This is the latest news

let's just hope they don't turn Neo Tokyo into New New York

In semi-related news, check out this latest model of electric motorcycle from Japan:

If there's not a Kaneda body mod for that bike within a year of it's public release, so help me I will eat my shorts.

Then I will get to making a company to build Kaneda mods for that bike, and I will be a wealthy man wearing tasty shorts.

Crap, the director of LOEG. That movie was a bomb. I hope he does 100% better if it really gets made.
Well, Thanks for the info. If you hear anything else, keep me informed.

Yay for my fellow Irishman Ruari. Hope he does a bang up job. If people are interested, he was nominated for an oscar and has a short film on his website.

Well, I guess it could be good, I foresee a lot of name changes to make it seem more American in flavor. Guess that's not a bad thing as long as it keeps the story and plot in tact.
