Okay, someone might have mentioned this before, since it feels so obvious, but I'll say it anyway.
There's a show called Mad Men which was been a rather huge surprise when it debuted last season. It was creatred by a former Sopranos writer (if I remember correctly) and it's about a group of advertising exectutives in 1950's Manhattan. It's one of the best-written shows on television, and it's one of the most awesome things I've seen on TV as of late.
As I was watching it a few days ago I realized: it would be the perfect Superman TV show.
Don Draper, the protagonist, looks like Clark Kent, leads a double life in many different ways, and was even was raised on a farm. He has a Jimmy Olsen of sorts (who looks perfect for the part too) in an ambitious young employee who both looks up to and wishes to replace Don. He has a Lois Lane in the woman he's having an affair with (again--looks just like her) and a Lex Luthor in his boss, whom Don silently competes with--and he would probably look the part, too, if he shaved his head.
So is this a stretch? Or am I justified in pretending that Don is saving people from burning buildings in between meetings?

I get where you're coming from. Mad Men is my favorite new show.
