Negi Springfield....Sorceror Supreme?

Okay, let's say that Dr. Strange retires from his role as Sorceror Supreme. Instead of Dr. Doom becoming his successor, however, as everyone suspected, the Powers That Be instead appoint Negi Springfield (Negima).

What happens differently?

SCENARIO 2: Negi replaces Strange as part of the New Avengers. Again, what happens differently?

Scenario 1: No, no, no, no. Negi still would need years and years of training before being able to take Strange's place. As things are now, he'd be doomed fighting the likes of Dormammu, and Shuma-Gorath would just go hentai tentacle monster on Negi's students (thus, I fulfill this thread's required ratio of dirty ecchi replies).

Scenario 2: Eh, with the way NA Strange jobs, Negi might be a step up. At least, he'll be better at dealing with ninjas.
