I'm liking Camelot Falls as much as anyone, but can someone straighten this out - isn't Arion acting incredibly out of character here?

I thought he was acting out of character, but then again I immediately dismissed it as "New Earth" Arion.

So *Shrugs*.

Which character? He has a different persona in different eras.

Kurt handpicked an Arion who was going through his biggest "jerk" phase.

Ancient Arion is wise and noble. 90s Arion was a bit of a reformed dick and still a doublecrosser and liar.

1890s Arion was a know-it-all jerk who had grown tired of living and humanity and not yet re-learned respect.

IMHO, Kurt handpicked the version of Arion he needed for this story, which is partly why he didn't just bring Arion back or use Arion from ten years ago or ten thousand years ago.
