Which i loved, but i have been hearing mixed things about countdown. I have them all, but i dont really feel like reading all of them being that from what ive herd alot are crap. So any issues that stand out that i should read? or wiki the whole thing?

Just start at #26, where the title change occurs, it pretty much summaries everything that happened previously. It also has some coming together of some sort. That's my opinion if you want it. I do think it is worth reading, and I am enjoying it.

why have them if you aren't going to read them, might as well read them all if you have them. countdown is only annoying if you buy it an issue a week but since you have them all just read them all at once and it will all seem better.

Thank you. I also feel like weekly comics are overwhelming (financially and creatively, waiting so long for a plot to develop) and should be done sparingly.

Ditto for me as well, 52 was great but after a few issues of countdown I couldn't bring myself to spend money on the "DC weekly tax" .

Countdown will quickly appear in the discount boxes or in ebay lots.
I missed out on 52 the first time round , but enjoyed it a lot buying in bulk runs from th ediscount box and with all the negativity surrounding Countdown can bear the wait for it to appear in same discount boxes.
