I want this. Dan Dare was my first exposure to sci-fi comics. Now if the could only make a Modesty Blaise series....

Honestly, I'm still not sold on this. Dan Dare is one of my absolute favourite series. I want this to be good. But I'm not 100% convinced just yet.

I have no problem with the excellent choice of Gary Erskine as artist, and who could turn down Bryan Talbot covers? Unfortunately, Ennis is a bit hit and miss for me. When he's on the top of his game, he's excellent, and it's clear from the interviews that he's a big Dare fan. In that respect, I'm cautiously optimistic. Unfortunately, I've been let down on more than one occasion, so I'm not sure what to expect.

Still, it's Dan Dare, so I'll definitely check out the first issue.

You know, I do believe Grant Morrison did a 4-issue Dan Dare years ago.
Can't remember who drew it back then or who published it.
