Superman/Batman - Help Finding a Story

I've heard of a story that has taken place in the title that deals with Darkseid regaining his powers. Does this tie into Countdown at all and what issues is it?

its been the last 6 issues. HAS one little thing to do with countdown if u want to know what it is just tell me and ill say but i dont want to spoil it for you if you want to read it.


If you have ever been in the superman forum u would see that i hated these last 6 issues. thought they were the worst comics i have ever read. so yea. and the 6 issues are about him getting his power back.

What happened? I'd rather read it online then buy them if they weren't that great.

ok so ill make it short. Darksied had no powers. Only way to get them back was to get highfathers staff. To do that desaad controlled found a way to control superman. He thne used superman to pull the staff out of the source wall thing. Batman went to save superman he then teamed up with orions wife. Orions wife and batman hit it off. In the end darksied got his powers back and batman and superman make it out alive. But then orions wife gets killed by the new god killer.
