Why I Love Amanda Bynes: An Essay by Novaya Havoc

"It's like being the hot girl at the high school party. I was never that girl. I grew up with terrible acne and feeling insecure. I was tall and skinny. I didn't feel pretty at all, and guys didn't even like me. That's why I got into comedy."

Amanda Bynes is the greatest actress in American cinema today. Amanda Bynes is 21 years old and is a timeless treasure with a long standing career. She has been in many TV shows and movies! Even in her own TV show!

I love Amanda Bynes because she is funny and very smart. In her movie "She's Teh Man," Amanda Bynes played a guy! It was very funny and I enjoyed it very much; I laughed until the cows came home! She is also smart because she does not do cocaine like Britney Spears. And she's younger than Julianne Moore!

Additionally, I love Amanda Bynes for her singing and dancing. When I saw her in "Hairspray," I was shocked by her versitile abilities! She is very good at both. In this movie she played "Penny Pingleton" and has great facial expressions -- she's like a modern I Love Lucy! Sadly, I don't know Lucy's last name.

Lastly, I love Amanda Bynes for her awesome hair. It's totally golden! And she just seems like she'd be a good friend, like someone you could really get to know on Facebook.

In conclusion, Amanda Bynes is awesome and I love her very much. Her many years in entertainment prove her worth. I hope she gets an Oscar and becomes America's best celebrity in the universe!

Tough call. Not sure if I'm qualified to determine what is worth of another's love. However if we take Dazzler as a base of what is worth Novaya Havoc's love, I can say my extreme indifference to both the Disco Mutant and Amanda Bynes render them equal in my eyes. Thus, sure.

She's beautiful, and cute. She actually looks healthy, which is saying something in and of itself, considering the outrageous thin demands that are placed upon many actresses/popular female singers.

However, she's beautiful and cute in a "highly enjoying the aesthetic quality of a good painting" kind of way, and not in a "sexual fantasies" kind of way.

I'm utterly unfamiliar with her professional work, though. This is actually the first time I've heard of "Amanda Bynes"...

While I'll cede that she's developed into quite the nice little piece, my having been aware of her since the days of "All That" kind of creeps out my boner... kind of.

Still, my never actually seeing her do/say anything that could even be described as remotely humorous does more to dampen my libido than a cold shower.

Nothing is less sexy than a woman who thinks she's funny but couldn't be more wrong.

I actually watched about 15 minutes of She's The Man. Enough to determine that it is indeed a better movie than you probably expect it to be. Still not good enough to make me watch. And the fact that Bynes has such a boyish face (hell, the plot hinges on that) made me feel kind of weird for noticing her rockin' body. Mjolner doth not appreciate confusion!

"Hairspray" is awesome. Bynes doesn't do anything particularly great in it, but the movie as a whole is one of my favorites of 2007.

She's the Man is a GREAT Amanda Bynes film. I totally wrote it off as a horrible tween movie, but it had me LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

You watch this, and you will LOVE Amanda Bynes!

It was okay but her best movie so far is What A Girl Wants, IMO.

Personally I'd like to see her in more dramatic roles* instead of pure comedy since the comedy films premises and execution come off as childish.

She can be funny in roles, but she needs to *tone it down* a notch.

Her next movie doesn't look much better. IIRC it's a Snow White rip-off. The previews look terrible. :(

Which is a shame since I *want* to watch any movie she's in --- except Hairspray.

She's really got to get better movie projects to be involved in.

I'm guessing it was in her imaginary world where she didn't have a TV series and movies going back to the time she was 10 years old appearing on Nickelodeon. I guess she has somehow got the last 11 years of her life, where she was privately tutored on sets, confused with the life of an ordinary less attractive girl who wasn't making 7 figures a year by the time she was 14.

Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

The whole idea of her claiming that boys weren't attracted to her... I'm sorry, but if I went to school with a girl on Nickelodeon making stacks of cash and doing mall appearances, I'm pretty sure I'd have to compete in fights just to carry her books and have to threaten people not to try sit next to her in the cafeteria. Let's be real here, she's been able to afford the best skin, hair and body care money can buy since before she grew enough hair and developed enough of a body for her to need to invest in her personal appearance.

Bynes has a nice voice. The nose surgery might change her voice, and not for the better. I used to be roommates with a guy who got a nose job in high school. His new nose looked good, but his new voice had a very unpleasant nasal tone, like he was talking while holding his nose.

That's not really true. Just because you are pretty and have a TV show doesn't mean you are going to be popular and everyone likes you.

I perfer normal tones to high pitched whining and chalk board screeching myself, but if you think Bynes has a nice or even decent voice I guess the more power to you.

The only movie I ever want to see that shes in is Hairsrapy and thats due to walken/travolta, bnot her. Shes never once made me laugh and the only reason to watch her show was for the rare megan fox appearance or her hot older sister.

Hilary Duff on her worst day on the other hand talent wise, movie list wise and looks wise is 10 times what Bynes amounts to on Bynes best day.
