The Recasted White Christmas

I love this classic movie its my faveorite Christmas movie of all time and possibly my faveorite Musical(sp?) of all time. But I think its hi time they remake it with a new cast and better effects. some of the background scenes make my eyes cringe. so help me recast or give your opinions.

Phil Davis (Originally Danny Kaye) Steven Lynch (What do you think could he pull it off I never saw him in Wedding Singer
Betty Haynes (Originally Rosemary Clooney) Emma Caulfield
Judy Haynes (Originally Vera-Ellen) Christy Carlson Romano
(The Roles were Originally Played by blonde girls who were a bit older but i like these to and they can sing and dance(atleast emma can i'll assume that Christy can I never got to see her in Beauty and the Beast

General Waverly (Originally Dean Jagger) Peter Graves

White Christmas? The only time I ever heard of that movie was when Stephen Colbert was making fun of Black Christmas (the bad horror movie).

Boy, I sure don't know much about movies of yore.
