Heh, I guess it's a good time to start following Italian comic book forums, considering where the artist is living:

Can't wait for this...and the cover too looks super(so to speak...)
(Still haven't forgiven how they changed Supes' face in Action #858 cover though)

Pardon me, but I'm not really a Legion guy. Are those supposed to be The Legion Of Substitutes or something?

They were all rejected as members of the Legion, but never were members of the Subs. Spider Girl was a villain a long time before the Marvel version came about, and even latter reformed and became a members of the Legion during the 5 Years Latter... era.

DC's Spider-Girl predates Marvel's by about 30 years.

I figured I would post pics for the masses not knowing anyone involved. The credit goes out to Nightcrawler(from Legionworld.net) though for posting these pics, so any credit, He deserves the credit.

Man, Spider-Girl is LAME. Lame like Marvel's Medusa.

wait... so in the 30th century, inventing a handheld device that can control the weather isn't good enough to get a call-back from the Legion?!!? wow... How they think a girl who can make two more of herself is anywhere near that level I'll never know...

To be fair, you can probably pick up weather controlling devices at the hardware store in the future.

One thing about old comics that always cracks me up is the way everything must be talked out like they're performing a radio play.
Cosmic Boy: Triplicate Girl, get rid of this faker!
Triplicate Girl: Just as soon as I materialize two duplicates of myself!
Triplicate Girl: Presto!
Triplicate Girl: Feat accomplished!
Triplicate Girl: Now there are three of me!
I refuse to belive that kids back then were so slow as to need that level of explanation of what's going on.

DC's Spider-Girl predates Marvel's by about 30 years.
Names of characters are free for anyone to use so long as they're obviously not supposed to be the same person. Ie both marvel and DC have a Scarecrow and a Sandman and a Captain Marvel.
For products like books and action figures you cannot use the same name, which is why DC's character is always Shazam.

The art and story were even better this issue than the last---and it only took about 3 weeks for it to come out. I like the suspense that's being built up; I thought I'd never see/read/feel that in a Superman comic outside of the old Alan Moore stories.
The 2-page Batcave spread was awesome.
Thanks for posting those shots, Mon-El.
The only thing I've yet to understand in comics is just how can captured comatose superheroes still be able to stand up erect without slumping inside those display tubes...
