From the looks of the text for Essential Avengers Vol. 6, my actual collection starts with the books that will be in Volume 7!

Big props to Marvel for the Marvel Fanfare TPB - there are a ton of great stories in those books. Still amazes me that there was a time when material by Paul Smith, Michael Golden, Jim Starlin, Dave Gibbons, Walt Simonson, Frank Miller...heck, the list is endless - was "filler material". I wonder if the Editori-Al strips with cartoon Al Milgrom will be included?

Dancing with joy now.

And did I see a HOWARD THE DUCK OMNIBUS, too?

Great googly moogly, I may have to buy those issues a third time. The ESSENTIAL volume is nice and all, but I want them all IN COLOR.

I'd love to know if there are going to be any extras in the USM Vol. 9 HC. When I was at Borders a couple of weeks ago, I was able to flip through the Premeire Edition HC of the Clone Saga and they had a really nice bit of extra stuff (interview, early art, sketch covers - his pencils are amazing!) on Mark Bagley. I think that it may have come from the Marvel Spotlight (or whatever it is called) issue, but it still looked like good reading.
