I think everyone agrees that this is awesome news. I really like Djurdjevic's Thunderbolts and Daredevil covers. I think he draws an amazing Thor and will really help this book (not that it needed it). I definitely think people are going to stick around with it...

I wanted so much to see a full comic by Djurdjevic. It's a shame it's Thor because I don't getting it (I only got #3, for the Stark confrontation), but it will be good to know if he is going to stay...

This is incredible. As a 20+ year fan, I'm so glad to see Thor finally getting the recognition he deserves.

You mean in the last 20+ years he hasn't?

Thor was one of the first heroes I knew about when I was a child...

The best thing is both issues come out in February.

Neat. Has Djurdjevic (how the Hell do you pronoun that?!) ever done penciling work before, or has covers been his whole career?

Djurdasonardvereliovic pencilling Thor is awesome news.

Even enough to offput my dissapointment at the Thor solicit being useless for two months in a row... :(

He did digipaints for a few pages of Daredevil 100. Aside from that, his comics work has been restricted to covers. Before that, I believe he worked a lot in illustration and concept art. Anyway, does anyone know if he'll be doing the full art chores or just the pencils? The last I heard, Danny Miki was inking and Laura Martin was coloring these Thor issues, but the ad copy reads "cover artist Marko Djurdjevic comes on board to provide amazing painted interiors". Dunno if they changed the plan or if the marketing dept. just got it wrong.

This is INDEED awesome! He's easily the best cover artist working today, and any doubt he couldnt do interiors was wiped off the map with his incredible contribution to DD #100.

Very excited for this.

Marko is a great pick but I hope his work is painted rather than pure pencils because they look much better in painted form.

I loved Marko's interior art in Daredevil 100, I can't wait to check him out in the pages of Thor. Should be some awesome splash pages!

Yeah, his first penciled pages for Marvel was in Daredevil #100. It was as good as his covers.

Some times it just takes a little persuasion.

Not that I'm complaining: more readers, the merrier!

Actually I was never a fan of Coipel's art, so that means he can't make me buy Thor, a character that I am not really interested in.

I'm with PWood. The past 20 years? Thor's gotten a lot of recognition in that time period. Sheesh.

I'm not all that thrilled that yet another book with yet another rather DEFINING look is getting its artist changed. I wanted Copiel to stick around for years on this. The look of the book has been very satisfying. And the pace of the story has been so damn slow, that I really felt this look needed to be around for multiple arcs. I guess I just continually get disappointed with the way comics do business these days. The word "regular" artist really doesn't mean much anymore. Losing Finch on Moon Knight, Cho on Mighty, and now Copiel on Thor ... meh ...

Sorry, this arc might be amazing and wonderful and the art could be extraordinary, but I just wish an artist would stick around for 12 or more issues for once. Especially an artist I like on a book I like.

Marvel doesn't seem to like to do that though these days.

I could be wrong but Copiel is only gone for these 2 issues...

Yeah, Marko is just doing 2 fill in issues before Copiel goes back to the title.

I'm hoping that it's painted though because Marko's work as regularly penciled and inked just isn't as impressive.

Copiel is awsome....the reason I actually bought a Thor book for the first time ever.
